*sniffling a little bit and desperately trying to hide all these tissues* I liked this chapter a normal amount.

No, for some reason this chapter really tugged my heart strings! Something about them being in love and going to a childhood home that is still so loved and a little less empty now and then some really sweet, if tough, back story and if you'll excuse me just a sec *muffled sobbing can be heard*.

Anyway. I had seen the post where you talked about Mav and Bradley's relationship but getting to see it from his point of view and just full of so much gratitude and love just melted my poor cold little heart. Ngl I still wanna bonk Mav a little, but less a "get your head out of your ass" bonk and more a "I think you could be doing better than this, friend" bonk.

Also, I truly loved everything about Bradley's childhood home, even if it is a little ridiculous 😂 I moved around a lot when I was a kid (12 houses in 18 years) and even more since I got out on my own, so I always get a little achy (in a mostly good way) when characters have a place to go back to to feel safe and loved and all, especially if they don't really have a person to go to for that and I just love that Bradley does!

Not a whole lot of baseball to talk about at the moment, since I've been too busy to really keep up with anything this week, but I do kinda love that Giants and I have lowkey turned your askbox into an anti dodgers safe space lool

Thanks for another great update, and I'm looking forward to the next one! I kinda can't believe that we're not even half way through!

I’m really glad you liked it… just a normal amount 🤣. As far as his home, to be fair, most professional athletes have some sort of work out something in their house… is it as in depth as Bradley? Probably not, but in Goose’s defence it was probably easier to let a 10 year old in the early 2000s walk 100 ft behind a closed gate to practice then send him 3 miles down the road to practice 🤣 plus it’s Goose and I refuse to think he wouldn’t give Bradley the world.

Baseball season is over… in my opinion the 2022 didn’t have a WS because I REFUSE to root for the Phillies or the Astros. I legit… nope not doing it. So you’re not missing much.

As for Bradley and Mav…

That will be resolved…. Soon… ish.. like within the next 5 chapters (which I know seems like forever but it’s like 10ish days. Maybe 13 . So it’s coming… and honestly once we get past chapter *looks at notes* 26 things are going to go REALLY REALLY fast… I hope so yes… but *clears throat*

I just made one of my betas (almost) cry by reading the first snippet of Chapter 19 which should be out tonight… if anyone wants to read it? (It’s in order don’t worry)
