i knew that french french and quebec french (which is what i learned) is somewhat different but i never rly thought about How different because i don't use french on a regular basis (in fact i'm only like. 5% fluent in it. which is to say, not at all lmao) and i only recently discovered that french people think quebec people sound like ducks over the different way they pronounce the "i" vowel etc and i realized that the accent difference might be comparable to like, pacific north west accent vs southern country accent or something. like you'd hear a quebecois talking and immediately clock "oh, quebec." anyway idk how many french french / non-quebec french people are on the english side of tunglr BUT i'm curious:
