I'm still around just... without internet, battling horrific-constant migraines, depression... you know, so that fun stuff!

With luck I should be back around in the next few weeks. Up until then I'll probably be doing some art memes here and there to keep myself busy. (I got an IPad and Procreate and I love. )

So I shared the new project and now I’ll share that how-to.

To make the colored hair wax you need a whole 2 ingredients.

1. Your favored hair wax/paste 2. Pigment.

FIRST INGREDIENT BREAKDOWN

It’s important that you use hair wax or paste and NOT gel. The gel does not hold the color well (I tried that first cause I had some on had)-- for the ones I made? I used Garnier Fructis’ Pure Clean finishing paste. I have naturally dark hair so it doesn’t show up super brightly on my hair with a single application- but pre-lightened hair will show it brightly. I’m going to give a test with Bed Head’s Workable Wax and Manipulator Paste next paycheck to see the difference if I were to drop the money on a more expensive product.

The less transparent the styling product? The better it shows on hair.

SECOND INGREDIENT BREAKDOWN

There’s a couple different things that you can use for pigment-- you can use eyeshadow for instance. So if you have a palette that you have that’s expired or what not? That’s an option! I, personally, popped out and got a small jar of mica powder from my local arts & crafts store!

You can also order packages of the powder off Amazon for a cheap price. This recipe also works for the different sorts of powder-- for example? If you choose a kind that’s thermal reactive? It will still react to change in temperature.

All you gotta do is mix the powder with the product-- I found it was easier to empty out the hair product from the jar and thoroughly mix it on a plate. The amount you use of either it REALLY to desire. You just add more until you’re satisfied. :>

Mami cheating by just shapeshifting into other people for Halloween.

Part of me is pretty sure she just fucks around and pretends to be Sinister. All the time she's been around him? She probably does a mean impression.

If I had my icons you'd all be in so much trouble with this.

She probably keeps that information to herself and tells people she's busy in the lab.

I know it's in my rules, but if I'm referring to Mami's interactions/feelings about Sinister? It's in regards to @defyxoblivion .

That being said-- if you write Sinister? After being squinted at for a few moments and a, "Oh. You... are not my father. " You, too, could have a total nightmare golden retriever to do your dirty work and get you #1 Dad coffee mugs at least once a year.

So, hear me out. Mami is basically when you put a LOT of self inserts into The Sims to just... try out different scenarios.

She places these duplicates into situations and lives she could have only hoped to live herself. They have free will unless she feels like she has to step in. But only the ones within the Marvel Universe are part of her main game. The others she'll watch from afar and not interfere with because it doesn't really matter what happens to them, and it's fun. Not that she can't-- just doesn't see the need to most the time.

Sometimes, though, the Marvel involved ones need a little push in the right direction, though. Sometimes, they need a ladder removed from a swimming pool. Sometimes, they get to go in to lead happy little dream lives. Sometimes they don't! It's all in good fun.

The plan was to sleep in later today, but... you know. Murica stuff. So, I'm gonna get some more sleep, then I'll be here to disassociate later.

Got my graphics recovered, so I'll probably get a new promo up and be pissed because I didn't back up my Sinister icons from my multi so I can't goof around with those when I wake up.

There's about 5 times a day where I think that I chose wrong by giving the main Mami the codename "Creation" instead of "Mommy".

That being said... I feel like I'm dodging other problems with the choice I made.  🙃

So writing today turned into a super rough sketch of Mami that I guess I'm going to try and finish tonight. :>

I keep thinking about The Thing and Tomie. Not that this is anything different from a normal day. But... Really I don't draw Mami ever, so?

It doesn't hurt, btw, she's being dramatic. Girl can just deaden her damn nerves until she's done.

Car is still out of commission, so, I'll have to try to fix it in the morning.

Anyways. Just to put it out there... I never really say it but this blog is a study in "nature vs nurture" in the presence of nearly limitless power.

Mami is intentionally very overpowered-- especially since I've started exploring her as an aspect of creation.

Everyone is free to put their mark on the experiment if they do desire -- and when I list certain duplicates is mostly because they're the most fleshed out. There is always space to welcome new versions-- or don't! Anyone is free to interact with any of the more developed versions of her.
