when marcellus returns to aeldria, to the catacombs, the first thing he does is return his things to his room. there is a slight proliferation of dust on his belongings, after roughly a week of him not being there. it is a few minutes of sitting alone, steeling himself, that he is ready to talk to fidel again.

when he is ready, he leaves his room, and heads to fidel’s office, which is where he suspects the archteacher currently is. he does not know what to expect, but knocks three times on the door.
