Rereading Fall of Cleveland rn and my hyper empathy got the better of me. So autistic about Mercury right now
#Fluffy fandom is cool. I’m mainly focused on the world building and the setting#+ the fluffy’s sapience and how humans blame everything on these creatures and while yes they ARE the worst invasive species ever#And kill like. ANY ecosystem (if they got where I live which is an island already riddled with invasive creatures it would be over)#We’re there bastards who made them. And also they’re fully sapient animals we left to get killed by humans or nature#They’re a blight to the earth but literally none of it is they’re fault.#Mercury’s journey and goal in the story makes me FERAL for that reason#He’s caused so much pain and suffering through spreading the word of spaghetti land and inciting the migrations#But also inspired so much hope in the dispodent feral population#But uhhhh yeah.
