started moving some of my shit over to my new apartment today adn well. its moving.

also bc im overthinking abt this - room situations with detailed notes

ROOM A - Oberon was originally rooming with Jalter - both of them didn't fill out anything on the roommate form - but he never cleans anything up ever which drove her crazy. Eventually they had a huge blow up fight so he lives alone in his garbage now. She will stop in to grab her mail since its still delivered to that room, but the atmosphere is never pleasant. Usually once a month someone will have to "save" Oberon from the trash because it starts stinking up the hallway.

ROOM B - Mostly normal and pretty clean, the only oddity is that Asclepius will essentially study Dantes like a bug in a jar. The Caster then of course updates our favorite Berserker Nightingale on the current condition of her favorite patient. They only argue when Dantes smokes in the room and not on the ground floor (Asclepius would prefer he quit, honestly, but there's some battles you just can't win). Asclepius will sometimes keep labeled specimens in the fridge and cabinets, but Dantes lets it slide because they are always properly labeled and away from the actual food.

ROOM C - While they have incredibly similar habits due to being the same person, Junao can get distracted and will accidentally leave food out or forget to take out the garbage occasionally. Fights are incredibly minimal, more a sigh and complaint and then a resolution to do better. Their room is the cleanest by far, though the competition isn't really trying. Its normal to want a good grade in apartment right? Archer thinks so. The two also have the most guests coming and going, from Osakabehime to Karna to Constantine to Parvati and many many more.

ROOM D - Originally inhabited by just Scathach and Murasaki, Jalter now sleeps on their couch. The room is organized chaos, with Jalter's stuff filling the living room, stacks of books everywhere that don't fit in Murasaki's room, and all sorts of hobby magazines from fashion to fitness to cooking on top of actual work out equipment from Scathach hiding everywhere. Sometimes there's arguments because someone almost tripped, or broke something that was left out, or didn't do the dishes, but the atmosphere stays consistently livable. Usually just called "The Girls Room".

ROOM E - Incredibly Suspicious Mage Room. It stays pretty clean, but theres a pretty clear dividing line between their stuff. Almost like the apartment is split in two. On one half is Douman's that essentially an evil mage workshop, and the other half is Merlin's where it looks and smells like a flowershop. While they definitely tease each other they never actually fight and both consider the other a "friend" by their own definitions. Little Shikigami also fly about the main living area and Douman's room, almost like pets.

ROOM F - Somehow both compatible and incompatible at the same time. Izou can be a rough roommate to handle (leaves garbage out, occasionally breaks things, sometimes blows the money he was saving for rent on a gamble) but makes up for it in having some ok skills in cooking and occasionally cleaning. Izou also has the courtesy to usually go out if he wants to be loud and party, giving Salieri much needed alone time where he can recharge and just listen to music alone for some hours. When they do argue (usually over Izou being too noisy or an issue with rent split) it's never catastrophic and they patch it up after a few hours (usually because ryouma helps izou out).

This is going to be long and rambly but I'm exhausted, life stuff

my landlord is selling the house that Im renting. I dont know what to do because theres nothing near where I work that is even vaguely affordable. all apartments are like 1.6k~2k a month and... I dont make enough. all the ones that are within my budget are either 55+ senior homes or they dont allow pets... and I cant get rid of Felicity. I just cant. Shes such a sweetheart.

I'm probably going to have to move back in with my parents into a room that is way smaller then the one im renting. I dont know what im going to do with my shit.

the reason that this is happening is because my landlord is trying to get divorced from her shitty stbx that she got married to in MARCH 2024, they just had A FUCKING KID. and isntead of just evicting him and keeping the house shes decided she just needs to "sell the house for a profit and start new"

because fuck me, I guess. she didnt even have the guts to tell me to my face. I had to find out because her stbx LEFT ME A VOICEMAIL letting me know she doing this.

You get seated immediately and he pulls your chair out for you. “Is there a single flaw with you?” you ask genuinely, he just laughs and shakes his head.

“Theres a bunch you dont know about me, sweetheart.” you roll your eyes as the waitress comes back with your mimosa and his water, asking for your orders. He orders for you and him before she walks off to put them in. He always knows what you want and orders it for you. It makes you smile that he likes to take care of you. You shake that thought away and go back to mindlessly talking with him, waiting on the food. It comes shortly and you both start to eat. “Where do you want to go? Japan? Italy? Oh we havent been to paris in a while, maybe there.”

“I think paris would be great, its always so pretty this time of year, maybe we can have dinner on the eiffel tower again!” your eyes light up at the thought of going back to paris. Last time you went was last spring, you both walked around and had the most wonderful time people watching and shopping. You take another bite and he looks like hes about to say something before he stops himself and looks down. “What is it? Is something wrong?” you look at him concerned, scared you messed something up.

“Its nothing darling, dont worry.” you both finish up lunch and he pays before helping you up and leading you back to the car. “I have something id like to ask you when we get to paris if thats okay, its nothing bad i promise its just something ive been meaning to ask for a while is all.” you nod as he opens the door for you and helps you in. “now, a pretty girl like you needs pretty new clothes for the trip, lets go get you some.” he smiles at you as he gets in, resting a hand back on your thigh as he starts the car, leading you both to the mall.

You spend hours in there going to different stores and trying things on, him getting you whatever you wanted without any hesitation. You walk back to the car with armfulls of bags and a couple new suitcases. “Thank you so much daddy, youre the best.” you kiss his cheek and he turns a little red.

“Its no problem baby, why dont you stay over tonight and we can leave in the morning to head to the airport. I can help you pack and we can watch a movie.” you smiles and nod, putting your bags in the back of the car and your new suitcases in the trunk.

“Id like that…” you think for a second about how nice it would be to wake up next to him every day and how nice it is to fall asleep next to him when it happens, even if when you did wake up after he wasnt next to you. The cold bed always made you remember that you would never be more than this, not that this was bad in the least its just sometimes you wish you could be more. He drives you both back to his apartment building and helps you out, grabbing most of your bags, only leaving you to grab the suitcases as you enter the building. He lived on the top floor in the penthouse, expected for how much money he had. You set your stuff down in his room, your new clothes already laid out nicely thanks to him. He walks up behind you and hugs you from behind.

“Youll look so good in all of those baby, gonna be the prettiest one in paris.” he kisses your neck softly before pulling away and taking your hand, leading you to sit on the part of the bed not covered by clothes. “Let me go run you a bath and you can pick out a movie.” you nod and he walks to the bathroom, leaving you alone on the bed. You turn on the tv and start scrolling through netflix looking for a movie, finally deciding as he walks back in and picks you up. You giggle and wrap your arms around his neck, moving your head to rest on his chest as he carries you to the bathroom. He sets you on the counter and takes your shirt off carefully, leaving kisses down your neck and chest and he moves down to take your shorts off. You lift yourself gently to help him take your shorts off. He takes them off quickly before nipping and kissing your inner thighs, ghosting over your core. Good morning! Another update [I promise I'm coming on to write soon]

So, yesterday I put an offer in on my coworker's old house and she countered, and I accepted. She only countered with 1000 more than I offered so I think she was only countering just to get a smidge more out of the house because her realtor is also acting as mine and when the realtor called me she said "I want you to know Morgan spoke highly of you and said she really wants this for you. Shes excited for you." And I just cried and cried. Morgan is also the girl who has worked for billions of shelters and has 12 cats and 4 dogs and she brought me a whole bunch of toys for the puppy and even something for my kitties. She is such a good person.

Anyway a little about the property --

3 bedroom.

Enclosed garage to make an extra room. This will probably be a pet room so the kennel and litters and cat towers/food ect will go in there.

One bathroom - newly renovated.

New roof. New water and sewer lines. Brand new floors [no carpet its ALL hardwood and synthetic wood]. New sink and countertop in kitchen. New energy efficient windows and doors.

Kitchen is slightly small but bigger than I have now, livingroom and dining area, utility room for washer dryer and tons of closets everywhere.

the property is .6 of an acre so its huge. The backyard is ALL fenced. Perfect for my new puppy???????? Theres even a little deck in the back.

It's a small railroad town that's super quiet and super safe. It's got a population of 600 and qualifies for some rural act thing that gives a 350 dollar credit on taxes but the taxes are 290! So the credit makes the taxes zero.

If anyone wants to see the property I will gladly send you a link. As long as I get my information together asap, projected closing date is December 12th! Of course I'm getting an inspection done as well.

The only, one and only downside is its 1 hour from work. But when I lived with my parents I was an hour away [this place is 15 min from them]. So I've done it before.

The mortgage will be HALF of my apartment rent. I think this was meant to be because when I looked at the property I walked in and cried but also morgan just so happened to bring it up the same day I got a puppy? When I wasnt actively looking for a house yet??? Someone was trying to give me the means to properly take care of all my animals tbh.

This is at the Esquire loft building, a pre-war building that now has its own dog washing station, common terrace, and compost centre. Although there’s a total of 2,000 square feet, there’s currently only one bedroom built into the space. The bed, which is sectioned off by curtains, is next to a master bathroom with an “open plan soaking tub.” Guess that means you’ll be taking baths out in the open. The loft also comes partially furnished, so it looks like you’ll get some cool furniture as part of the deal.  All of the loft essentials are here: 20-foot double height ceilings, exposed ceilings and brick, and poured concrete floors. The kitchen is anything but gritty, with a farmhouse sink, fancy appliances and a centre island. There are also two full bathrooms and a washer/dryer unit in the apartment. Even better, those giant windows look out onto views of the Lakes of Lakewood.

My friends upstairs neighbor is going all out with ignoring the landlord

My friends parents own the building they live in. Apparently the upstairs neighbor hasn't been paying rent and has been dodging their calls and avoiding being at home during the day so the property manager can't talk to her.

Nothing but respect to her. We hate my friends parents. Theyre terrible people. Watching them get slightly inconvenienced (because let's be real, this is not a big deal to them money-wise. They have plenty of money. Theyre currently on vacation in Hawaii despite having just gotten back from a vacation 2 weeks ago. They have TWO houses in the same neighborhood. One is just for them to hang out in. One has a sauna) is great.

But theyre not really people you wanna fuck with. Most people think they're super nice, amazing people. Despite their daughter informing many of these people of the abuse she suffered WHILE it was happening. Nope. Theyre great. Youre so lucky. You'll understand when you're older (she did not).

So shes trying to figure out a way to discreetly warn her neighbor that theyre considering legal action.

I didnt have a tank so dude sells me a 5 gallon tank n i choose 2 lil baby catfish n my mom chose another fish that i honestly dont remember n i was so excited. So he told me to get a filter cartridge n a heater n a thermometer n everything else came w the tank i got n i bought some decor n this bright red gravel n i was hella excited. The remaining two monsters and the human listened to horrible roars and growls, sounds of ripping and splintering echoed in the empty decaying house. Shortly after the younger clown stomped back into the room picked up a very confused Leech onto his lap and wrapped her tight in his arms. So my husband has 2 kids from 1st wife, daughter is 16 and just got license, ex states he is REQUIRED to pay the difference in her car insurance to add the minor, just curious if anyone knows if this is true.
