I feel like a wuss admitting I've never drank before...
Grendel from Black Torrent sent in something called "Dragon's Breath," but tbh it's terrifyingly fragrant and I'm saving it for when my next deployment inevitably blows up in my face
you sound like an expert, so uh, dealer's choice??? I'll keep you in the loop about my review lmao
-ps: the smartgun is... wiggling its antennae at me??? I think it's trying to say hi
@faulty-heat-vents
hi again, kiddo! good to hear you're still alive - I hear things got more than a bit messy for you recently. (also - you have a smartgun?! congrats! glad to hear you've finally come around on HORUS tech; pegasus tech is real fun to mess with once you get used to the fleshy bits)
new to drinking, huh? don't worry, auntie cousin Shoddy's got you covered. let's get you some of the tamer (and better-tasting) stuff; don't wanna start you off on the wrong foot
let's see here... yeah, this should be an okay mix for you. no full cases of anything so you have a good variety of things to try, none of the hard shit so you can start building tolerance safely
- 6 bottles hard cider (apple cider - a classic)
- 6 bottles perry (pear cider; same alcohol content as the apple, just a different taste to it)
- 4 bottles kvass (this one is a bit weird - it's made with fermented rye bread, so it's gonna taste kinda yeasty; alcohol content is really low though, so at worst it'll just taste bad)
- 4 bottles mead (honey wine - runs sweet, if you're into that; this is the commercially-available stuff, not the homebrew, so the alcohol content should be a lot lower)
- 1 bottle peppermint schnapps (no clue if you like mint or not, but schnapps are one of the lower-alcohol liquors, so this should be an okay mixer if you wanna try spiked hot chocolate)
- 3 bottles ginger beer (basically just alcoholic ginger ale)
take care out there, Ash - and hey, don't be afraid to share some of this with Ciryn; I bet she'd appreciate it after what both of you have been through recently. best of luck on your deployment!

#lancer rpg#lancer ttrpg#lancerrpg#+ one word of advice with that smartgun - maybe don't use your own blood next time you need to give it an organ transplant#+ it's not a completely bad thing - you're fine to have done it - but be prepared for your gun to start looking (and acting) more like you#+ pegasus weapons take on the genetic traits of the blood used for transfusions; hence why smart pilots use O-negative#+ not only is that the universal donor type; it also tends to impart the fewest of its genetic traits to the smartgun#+ so if your smartgun ever starts to grow cat ears or a tail or some shit - now you know why!#+ (you are correct that synthblood wouldn't have worked for that transfusion - pegasus frames are... fussier than gorgons in that respect)#correspondences with: Ashton
