Agatha was used to running into other witches by now, but this time, she was more on guard than normal. She had just recently learned of her pregnancy - not by man or spell - and felt a fierce need to keep her unborn safe. Especially now, as she looked at the far older witch before her, someone she could tell she couldn't just trick into blasting her...not that she probably should now that her body was just a housing for a life growing within.

This was her attempt at dodging the other, so she wouldn't be asked if she was the witch killer, the one woman that no other witch could ever trust.

It's been a long time since Summer has been in Ozpin's office. She wanted it to be longer, honestly, but apparently the man had other plans.

Her face sours as she remembers why she's here in the first place, glaring at him over his desk. "You can't let Ruby into Beacon. She's fifteen."

She's not ready yet. Summer wasn't even sure she wanted her to go to Beacon, but the girl was stubborn and idealistic and... well, everything Summer had been in her own youth. She had tried to make sure her girls went into this world more knowledgeable than she had. She'd tried so damn hard.

But she'd thought she'd had another two years to prep Ruby on the things she would see. The things Ozpin would make her do. The special treatment Ozpin was sure to give her.

She wished Qrow wasn't off on a mission, because she could really use his support right now.

Soft humming came from Agatha as she took her time to patch up Nicky's favorite cap. Of course, she was humming their ballad, something she had fallen in love with, much like she had her son. These were the moments she yearned for, quiet ones that she truly felt comfortable in, the worry of Rio coming in the farthest recesses of her mind.

As she put the finishing touches on the patch job, she glanced up towards her son, who was only a few feet away, doing his own thing. It made her smile genuinely, seeing him just being a little boy, rather than be too sick to play.

"Alright Nicky, it's all fixed now." She spoke, holding the repaired hat up for him to come and get.

salem liked her life, it was different from the one she used to lead, but it was still nice. she spent her days working at the vet clinic then she came home to the house she had bought with her now fiancee. each night she'd cook dinner, whether for just herself or for the both of them and then she'd settle in for the night. on weekends and the occasional weeknight she found herself at events with her partner or her partners friends, spending the time drinking, eating and occasionally schmoozing. it was simple, but it was good. tonight seemed like every other, she'd gotten home, made herself dinner as her fiancee was on a work trip and started eating her diner whilst reading a book. when she heard her front door opening there was a confused expression on her face, "honey? what are you do-" her words cut-off, almost choking when her eyes fell upon the other, freezing in her seat.
