i feel like dolores is pitched as the lead role, but maeve is the lead for me. she seems to be the one actually free and who understands freedom is choice, and doesn't mean a new dictator. also, i don't know whether this is an unpopular opinion or not, but i find dolores storyline boring, while maeve's is fantastic and exciting.

DEFINITELY, I agree with you. i’m really loving the way they’re juxtaposing the two ideas of freedom and allowing the woc to be shown doing good things and being compassionate and letting the white woman be the “villain,” for lack of a better term. it’s a nice change of pace from what you usually see.

and tbh i’m with you on that (obviously). i’ve never really been a huge fan of dolores, even from the start. i’ve mostly just been indifferent until this season when i’m like :////
