NOW THERE WAS a face he had not seen in some time. So it seemed others who would be familiar with him were here as well -- perhaps there was a chance the rest of the inner council would be. He doesn’t hesitate to approach, confident smirk on his face.

        ❝ It has been a long time, hasn’t it? Do you need me to rip that from your back again? ❞

A gesture toward her chronal accelerator with his gauntlet before closing it in a fist, deep chuckle emanating from him. He aims to make it clear that he doesn’t want her or any of her ilk to get in his way.

        something pulls at his heartstrings. a feeling of nostalgia suddenly invades him without   mercy.   he doesn’t know what to feel when he sees the girl   ---   no, the woman before him. a sense of   pride  and overwhelming   sadness  strikes him so suddenly and he remains frozen even for the smallest of seconds. it’s been   so   long, it’s been   so   long since he has seen her in person, he knows of what she has done, he has seen her over the news.

        and he couldn’t be more proud.

        he recalls the earlier times, he recalls when she was only in training, he remembers when he personally taught her from time to time --- and she has the same glimmer in her eyes the last time he saw her. yet, he has lost   everything.   he’s cautious, and even so ---        ❛    you. what’s your name.     ❜       he just wants to ask. make sure.

Logan fucking hates speedsters. He’s had his fair share of speedsters back in his universe and they were always the upbeat kind of character and they always end up not watching where they’re--

Before he could even finish his thought, he collides instantly with someone who was running a little bit too fast for his liking. Both of them end up falling on their asses and that obviously causes Logan to erupt.

“Watch where the fuck yer goin’, bub!” He yells, growling right after with his teeth bearing. He finally got a good look at who had bumped into him and he finds out it was actually a girl. That isn’t going to stop him from scolding her though.

“Ya coulda hurt someone, fuckin’ hell...”
