∗ 91﹕ sender  holds  receiver  as  they  cry . maya & ava. because lets be real, maya is definitely an older sister figure & we can guarantee she's seen ava in vulnerable moments — she's bound to have seen her cry over something and comforted her. just imagine, ava crying over something and she thinks it stupid because its over something insignificant in the eyes of everyone else, but not to maya. to maya its the most important thing and she refuses to leave her alone until she's okay. ;w;

Ava had been hiding out in her room, trying to avoid others while she was trying and failing to hold back tears, and worse yet for her trying to play it off cool, it seemed she was as quiet she hoped as soon enough there Maya was, trying to comfort her.

"I'm fine, really. I just uh-" she had to sniff to try to get the snot to stop making it hard to talk "-Have something in my eye." Normally she'd have a bit of a better lie, but she had be hoping to be avoid being around others.
