i really miss beetlejuice the musical being on broadway
#i’m just in my head ig but i can’t get over how i almost got to see it & how it never got to happen#i was supposed to see the original production of beej exactly one month after broadway closed#i had the tickets & the day all planned out#& i (being an at-the-time 13/14 year old who develops fixations & loved/s theatre with all of their heart)#was on the beetlejuice website#and at the top of the screen was where i found out that not only was the performance not going to go on but also that bway would be closing#i know in the grand scheme of things not getting to see a show is not anything major#and ultimately i got to have another chance to see beetlejuice on broadway#but i didn’t take it#& that will always be one of my biggest regrets#i guess if there’s anything to take from this#it’s that if you have an opportunity & the means to take it#do so or you might regret it#luc’s laments#theatre 🎭#ant wine 🪲🧃
