It was an underestimated truth, that there was nothing more dangerous among any of the realms than a mother protecting her young. More than anything, Sigyn wished she could’ve protected Vali and Narfi from having to see the lengths she would go to protect them. Despite her desire to protect them from what they had to see, it was something she couldn’t help. She couldn’t afford for anyone that intended to do them harm to walk away with a simple threat and big, empty words, for anyone to think that that was the only repercussion for intending her children harm or death. 

She did not enjoy taking a life, not even an evil one. But it was them or her children; if not this threat it would be the next that took them. 

Casting her gaze behind her to the two teenaged-boys.  she couldn’t help the momentarily apologetic expression that eased onto her face. No matter how tall they stood, no matter how many years passed by, she could never see them for the grown men they were turning into. Though they stood on their own two feet, she could only ever see the two tiny babes she had birthed and torn out of her own body. A part of her was frightened, but not of failing and acquiring death - but of frightening them by her actions - to make them think that she would ever do what she was about to do to Theoric, to them. 

Lifting her left hand, the Goddess smoothed her hand through the dark head of curls of her youngest and the straight blonde locks of her firstborn with her other. Guiding them forward a few inches, she pressed a kiss to the top of Vali’s before pressing another to Narfi’s, before in relief that they were both alive, by the time she got there. Something she feared wouldn’t had been the case if she were a moment too late, as well as a non-verbal apology for not being able to protect them from this. She couldn’t kill Theoric and block their eyes at the same time. “Close your eyes if you can…Neither of you are going to want to see this,” she told them calmly against Narfi’s hair. 

Releasing them from her gentle embrace, she turned her sights on Theoric. At one point in her life, she had loved this man. They had planned to marry once upon a time, but she was glad she hadn’t. When he wore the Crimson helmet under Odin’s army, he had been an honorable man, but if he were willing to kill children in revenge for what Loki had done to him, she was grateful Loki had indirectly saved her from such a connection. 

She made one final attempt at making peace in a desperate attempt at protecting Vali and Narfi. 

“Stand down, Theoric. Your source of anger is with Loki and I, not with my children.” She warned, her tone darkened with anger. 

Just as she suspected, he wasn’t to have it. “You were to marry me, Sigyn.” he pointed out, his tone laced with venom. “Even after he revealed himself–after he attempted to have me killed–you stayed,” Seeing Theoric flicker his sights onto Narfi and Vali over her shoulder, she narrowed her eyes as she registered a look of what looked like disgust on his face. However, Sigyn kept her own expression calm, to conceal her inner caution. 

“I mourned you, Theoric. That is the only consolation I care to offer to you after you threaten the lives of my children. If you are searching for regret or unhappiness in my marrying Loki…you will not find any. I stayed married to him because I love him,” Sigyn said, unable to hide the sincerity in her voice.

“I know not of how he attempted to have you murdered, Theoric. But judging from the fact you are willing to attack his unarmed sons instead of him, directly, tells me it was unkind and you fear him completing the task more violently,” she pointed out, with her subtle mock as her tone becoming darker. 

“But I assure you, Theoric…we’ll see who is the scariest out of Loki or me,” she promised. “I can almost guarantee you, it’s going to be my husband you wished was here. Your death would’ve stood at a chance at being swifter. Perhaps if I did not see blood on my boys heads, it would be quick by my hand as well. But alas, it appears you were stupid enough to try and harm them before I got here.”

The Goddess kept her feet firmly planted in place as the former-Crimson Hawk stepped closer; close enough for her to feel his breath brush against her face. Keeping her unwavering gaze locked with his, she took a breath as she felt the cold metal of his dagger he caressed her cheek with. She knew in this moment, he was going to say something to tip her over the edge. Even before he spoke, she could feel the anger beginning to simmer in her chest and beginning to dye her vision red. “I was merely going to send him the gutted remains of the two boys…and even though I hate to do it, perhaps sending him all three of you would pack a far bigger punch,” 

Sigyn was not an easily angered woman, but his threat had done as she expected. Her anger no longer simply ‘simmered’ it was boiling. It was boiling so hot she could practically feel it scorching her veins. The front of her skull throbbed with her fury. 

Curling her fingers around the pressure she built within her hand, she derailed her anger into the magic she could feel flowing through her veins. The intensity of her anger made the magic smoother as she mentally-wired the pressure in her hand to Theoric’s spine. Once the connection had been established, she could finally follow through with her spell. She hated taking a life, good or evil. There was no turning back from killing, but there was nothing she wouldn’t do for her child. Making a slow pulling motion with her hand, she withheld her wince at Theoric’s mouth drop open slightly in shock, and his eyes beginning to gloss over with a near-clueless haze, as she listened to a low grumbled-crunch that sounded through his body as she pulled the pressure of the energy was holding, towards her, snapping the top of the vertebrae from the base of his skull, as she pulled them forward towards his throat. Pulling back her arm slightly further, she pulled it up higher. Even her own spine mimicked the pain she was inflicting, to enhance the reality of what she was doing. Once she felt the vertebrae finally detach, tear through its confines, she pulled her arm back once more to her elbow and finally finished ripping his vertebrae out, pulling it through his mouth, as she finally winced at the steady stream of blood that spilled over his lips and down the front of his body. 

Allowing his now-lifeless body collapse, she turned her eyes towards his two associates. “Anyone else?” She offered to his associates. However, she could see clear hesitation within their eyes. Leaning down, she picked up the blood-drenched vertebrae she had torn from her ex-lover. Holding it outwards in an offer, she spoke to Theorics partners. “If I were you…I would take my offering and any time you ever see these children again, look upon it as a reminder of what happens to those who intend to do them wrong. I do not wish to kill you, but I will. Note that this was my gentle, merciful side when it comes to handling those that cross them.” 

Her eyes watched a very reluctant witness step forward and shakily take the item. “Good day,” she offered as she turned back to her sons. Reaching into her pocket, she daintily cleaned off her hand as she lifted her head towards the sky. “Heimdall, we are ready to return home, now,”

Cops Tried To Put A Halt On Megan Thee Stallion's 'Hot Girl Summer,' But They Didn't Stop The Show

Megan Thee Stallion's “Hot Girl Summer” video almost became a cold girl summer when LAPD used their force to shut down the festivities -- but don’t worry, things did get warmer.

So, what happened?!

According to TMZ, the legal party crashers attempted to shut down Hot Girl Meg, Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign's "Hot Girl Summer" video last Friday, in the Mount Olympus are in Los Angeles. It's real fancy and luxe out in those streets, so you have to have paperwork to record out there.

Supposedly, production didn’t secure proper permits before they saddled their way to the heart of Hollywood Hills, so the cops shut ish down.

Bummer right.

Nicki and Ty booked a house close to the set to shoot the main portion of the video, but unfortunately, high profile SNITCHES in the neighborhood canceled their services.

Someone called the cops and told law enforcement to pull up to the set, and once they arrived, they noticed there was not a proper permit present and they sent everyone packing.

Luckily for Meg, her superhero team was able to find another location only 50 miles East of L.A. in Chino Hills. After relocating, production ran smoothly and they were able to capture all the footage they needed.

By the way, it was just announced that the Tina Snow rapper will be hitting the stage to perform at the 15th annual A3C Festival & Conference from October 8th-10th at Center Stage in Atlanta.

Giddy up.
