Equality? To be equal, to stand equal and how we look physically shouldn’t matter. I hope that’s what equality means when we say equality between men and women. Then why I’m being judged on the fact that I sometimes sit with my leg crossed? Why they ask if I’m man enough when I say I cant to certain things? Or choice to ignore instead of a fist fight. Society talk about women, about her pain and tears and so they fight for equality. But men, nobody talks about them, well, I guess man aren’t allowed to cry or show their pain. We’re not allowed to cry out loud. It’s not always an opportunity when a woman uses her body to destroy us. 53%of rape cases were false in a report by delhi commission for women. A man is weaker then a women in certain perspectives. They break but can’t speak for it. They are in pain but can’t cry out their tears. What is more suffocating than that? Men have feelings too. It just society who ask questions when they don’t choose violence at any incident. Men are asked, aren’t they you man enough to fight for that? Beauty is just an illusion , a judgement of a person towards anything in this world, and I’m sure nobody in this world want to look ugly or feel ugly. Well, but at the end for most of us, we don’t have a choice. She has darker complexion, she isn’t pretty, She’s a little fat, she’s not so pretty, we judge; sometimes willingly at times unknowingly. But the funniest part is not even a single person is exactly same as anyone else in the world, then how come there is a standard measurement for beauty? We might or may not accept but we all are different and so our choices. Some of us get attracted to slim, dark and overweight person, we all have our own choices but we keep screaming about how is someone "pretty" but other one is ugly. Let’s stop generalising things. You might get attracted to fair complexion and a slim body but that doesn’t mean others are ugly, its ’s just your own attraction towards someone. And it’s not necessary that what you don’t like is ugly. It’s just that it’s not your choice. Here I’m not talking about beauty of the soul or mind or whatever. I’m here talking about appearances, how can fat be ugly or dark not be beautiful. A mind can be ugly, what they did might be disgusting but there is nothing called an ugly face. Nothing seems to be a more jovial feeling for a father than holding the tender fingers of his daughter just after she is born. Knowing she’ll someday leave, someday to someone who deserves her, to build another home, to nurture some more dreams, risking her own, There's always this motherly nature of hers staying in her heart, Knowing to care about everyone including her brothers. Stating that women are less capable of doing various things is one of the stupidest thing I have ever heard. They might not be as strong as a man physically, (Nevertheless, they can be stronger than any man physically as well) but the amount of pain and experiences they go through, men are nowhere close to it. For a father his daughter is like that precious gem which he tries to keep safely in his back pocket but someday has to give away to someone who can take care of it in a better way, give her all the happiness she deserves and explore life experiences with her. The wedding day is like the most weird situation for him, he is happy that she’s going to have a different life, but she’ll leave, will leave like never before, she won’t be his again, and that reminds how the walls of that home will never resonate with the voice of her mesmirising laughter, things will change and a pearl will disappear to explore the ocean.
