brief return and a request for information

one of the reasons i stopped posting was because the tubbo and ginger speculation was getting me down. i got many asks about the bracelet, asking me to talk about it, and i really didn't want to. however i still watched from a distance, sometimes with relief, and sometimes with horror, as i went back and forth on my opinions

this is the end of tubbo's stream tonight. ngl i found the vibes a little off. it reminded me of the busy days of this blog where many would comment on his sudden dedication to work, and few believed him to be genuine. so was unsurprised when i saw this tweet from a bootlegger worker

i'd heard from harry tell lexie on stream that tam was leaving bootlegger, so went to her instagram and found this story

here's where the complete surprise set in. that's ginger's phone. does ginger know tam? is the connection only through tubbo? if you're out of the loop ginger has recently started up a public presence again, and tweeted this selfie the other day showing his phone flipped

now here's where i'm stumped. of course tubbo didn't want people to know he's gone to bootlegger to hang with ginger. even if they didn't skip there together hand in hand, he knows there's been an increase in speculation again, and he doesn't want to be seen in a public place with the "stan he's dating"

i just didn't expect crazy theories of them 'secretly hanging out' to be validated again, but here we are

so i'm back asking if anyone has any information. if you've noticed anything suspicious, any smoking guns, feel free to drop them in my inbox. any opinions on this topic are welcome too, although i can't promise i'll post much of it. it appears the ginger mystery will never die so lets try and get to the bottom of it again

yeah it's a bit of a surprise. a lot of creators had mystery plans yesterday, and after watching lexie's stream i thought it was an engagement party or something similar. either scott and cam or oli and eloise as they'd come down to brighton. i never expected bekyamon wedding

anyway sorry for being so absent. i got busy and burnt out by discourse and took a break. then the dream drama dropped and the break became longer. i'll be back for real in a couple of days when i have free time and energy again <3

who do we think it's tybbo's snail admin? around 55min on steam yesterday he said his snail is portuguese but then said they're from a french territory? i'm guessing it's between prrato and hope and maybe banz that speaks french and is baghera's snail since she wasn't online but i feel like hope would have been added way earlier so i guess prrato? or maybe that beky mod he asked to join

i don't know anything about the background of prrato or banz so it could be either of them. pretty sure hope lives in portugal, or at least used to because i think he was on the same time zone as tubbo for the tubbathon

do you mean tumblr blogs? i've missed loads the last couple of days with work and a migraine so i don't know what's going on. i don't think i've even checked my dash in two days

if you mean curious cat, it's been dead a long time. the only tubbling i know who had a curious cat was tubboism and she's on here under the same name

there's always going to be a risk that some admins do too much if there aren't more concrete guidelines in place but i do believe he at least has good intentions

agreed with the good intentions but i feel a lot of things in the creator world start that way. most people don't have bad intentions but their are imbalances everywhere

I bet all of the offline gaming during the Ski Trip was due to his fall, he probably was not allowed to snowboard after this happened

i don't think it was, he was gaming and sharing snowboarding related stories on the same days. i think he was just finding things to fill his time and his internet wasn't good enough for league or anything

Unless it’s a very loose “only when you wanna, you can quit anytime” and very transparent about it being voluntary without pay (I believe that this is the case idk?) - it could very easily fall into having the same issues as qsmp

Also I liked the snail idea when it was a liability for the one strongest person but now it’s a pet that’s cute and everyone wants one so hmm idk

I do love Ros’ butterfly though so maybe I’m just biased idk

i love that ros got a butterfly too. the snails have definitely become little pets though, chats love that sort of stuff so of course creators want to play into it

what's phil's stance against the snails? is it the levels thing or the roleplay thing that he's not into?

i've heard conflicting things but he's planning to fail rp and log off if he gets a snail. which is so stupid and immature no matter which part he has a problem with especially since he barely even knows anything about how the different snails operate. he needs to start talking about this kind of stuff with tubbo or an admin off stream instead of backing them into a corner by reacting like that.

last stream tubbo seemed surprised that phil logged on again so maybe he did share complaints behind the scenes

I forgot how annoying it is to see him texting all the time

It's not like he is streaming for 8hours

it's only super annoying for me when he mentally checks out. he was walking the tightrope towards the end of last stream but lets hope he can keep a lid on it

it's definitely not the same admin playing the same character every time aimsey just confirmed that again. i'm still assuming they probably try to stick to one most of the time though

That is not a healthy or appropriate mindset on his part, especially considering he made jokes that foolish is like a dad to his snail, as well as said on stream that foolish mock-yelling at the snail, is funny because he knows exactly who is playing foolish's snail, and said 'never meet your heroes'. It was a bit uncomfortable to witness last night but since I assumed it was his twitch mods or admins who were the snails I didn't think too much of it, the fact it was fans... Tubbo needs a good shake sometimes

i think he genuinely can't see the nuance in fan and creator interactions because he's a creator himself. he's going to have a different perspective because he's famous, he doesn't quite see that normal people look up to creators in a different way

sneeg was annoying me quite a bit last stream when he was banging on about the server restart. you can't be demanding everything right before an event

i think he was trying to annoy tubbo more than he was actually pushing for a restart but yeah. it's kind of funny, sneeg was one of the people who did the most cleaning around the tavern with the reasoning that it was rude to do so much pranking on his place when he was sick and he didn't want that to be the first thing he had to deal with. but then his first move was to intentionally piss him off.

he's also been complaining about tango not helping with the quests this week and it's only monday. i know they can't leave all of it to the last minute but he's a grinder. he'll help when he's on at the same time as the rest of the team.

that's true, i guess when sneeg tries to annoy tubbo it just ends up annoying tubbo's audience too. it's why he's so unpopular with tubblings, he always has to have something to complain about

abe's servers are usually temporary but i can't help being a little annoyed that some people have already played more there than on the realm. i really need some of the new players added on the 12th to be minecraft mains who will log in at least a couple times a week.

once january is properly underway and everyone's available, i think some prodding needs to be done. the members who haven't logged in for a while might need reassuring that they haven't missed too much to still join in
