Work Pt 3

S: "Can you come help me; my draw is sticking." Me (without looking up from desk): "is it completely unlocked?" S: "Yeah, it's all opening, it's just jamming." My curiosity piqued, I went over to her desk, tried the draw to see how it was sticking... ...turned the key so that it was completely unlocked and smoothly opened the draw, then stared at her skeptically.

Email from N: 'Hi L Can you sort the subscription for the holiday system as discussed in the staff meeting teo weeks ago? Finance team: can you help out with this?' Me: Either 1) this has something to do with me in which case you should have told me two weeks ago, or 2) it has nothing to do with me and this email is pointless. As the company credit card details have to be popped in on the Boss's login, neither finance nor I need to be involved... (● ˃̶͈̀ロ˂̶͈́)੭ꠥ⁾⁾ "When everyone around you is acting crazy, examine your own mind."

Workmates

S: "It's so hot in here" (while eating a thick cardigan). She proceeded to walk over to the thermostat, set it to cool and then raised the temperature from 18 degrees to 23. Me: "You just turned the heat up, having complained that it was too hot?" S: "No, I turned the cooling up." Me: ( T_T)＼(^-^ ) 'good job, champ!'

It's Friday and I'm on my way down to London for tomorrow's polyday, but don't think I've forgotten about you all! I have been working on a post about anxiety this week.
