What are Protective Hairstyles?!?! Braids Buns & Twists We protect her hair by combining it into a hairstyle that will protect our shaft and the tips of our hair. When you workout you put your hair in a ponytail but preferably a bun or braids. Why? So, when you are constantly moving your head your hair will tangle or your hair will stick to your neck because of the perspiration. Or when we decide to get little fancy for special occasions our go to are braids, French Braids, cornrows, cingion, braids, ponytails. Basically any updos are a protective hairstyle For a few of us who have curlier and kinkier hair textures we tend to go for hairstyles that last a little bit longer for more than a day or week for instance , TraRenee is wearing individual braids with natural hair like fibers to create a longer Hairstyle, where heat may be used and won't damage her natural hair. Hair extensions comes in humanshair , natural fibers or synthetic fibers, which can be manipulated in any color and texture. There are many different techniques that comes with a protective hairstyles with or without hair extensions. Throughout the years hair were donated to make wigs for patients who have lost their hair or have alopecia (natural loss of hair). Now there are different forms of hair extensions that are met for just styling, and it can be sewed, glued, tide and/ or braid it on. How to take care and protect your Protective Styles. - Tie your hair up at night with a scarf or bonnet -Get professional maintenance on hair extensions, whether it's once a week or once a month. Depending on the style - Use the appropriate product to cleans and moisturizer your natural tresses - When washed and treated make sure scalp and hair is completely dry

#tabibastyles✨ Makeup Tip. This was a personal request from @brittanysiierra of @arreispdx #blogger. As a genuine #makeupfeen and #makeupartist I always like to have choices with one shade of lipstick. By using lip pencils to either brighten or darken the lipstick shade. As seen here @maccosmetics lipstick in the color #Stone which is a great nude shade for darker skin tones and a beautiful deep shade for medium to light skin tones. Step 1 | Always prime your lips Step 2 | Use the lip pencil first to line your lips Step 3 | Apply Lipstick 💄 #tipoftheday #makeuptechniques #lippyonfleek #ombrelips #naturallips #darklips #makeuppdx #makeuplook #lipstick #beautyblogger #beauty #womanofcolor #melanin #darkskinbeauty #makeupartist #Pdx (at Tabiba Styles)

#STROBING !! TS Tip: The new makeup technique that's giving contouring a second look!! Strobing is a makeup technique that is used by using only illuminating/luminizer products to achieve a glow within. It's especially great for this year #WinterLook that uses dark shades for eyes and lips and a touch of glow that will brighten up the whole entire look!! Have fun trying this look my fellow #MakeupFeens #makeuptips #makeup101 #makeuppdx #makeupartist #makeupblogger #glowinthedark #illumination #makeuptechniques #tabibastyles #tipoftheday #skin (at Tabiba Styles)
