Dec. 17 2024. I’ve been contemplating how to utilize this blog and whether I should delete all the previous posts for the past several weeks. Thank you so much for your likes, subscriptions, and comments up until now.

In May or June, I started using my X (formerly Twitter) account actively. It’s so easy to post casual updates there that I’ve stopped posting on this blog. After much thought, I’ve decided to repurpose this blog as a space for notes and references.(My focus has been on design and figure drawing, so I don’t think it will be much help for a deformed art.)

Since restarting my drawing journey in March, I feel like my skills may have improved. When I studied art seriously in the past, I could approach it in a logical way, so I thought I’d quickly regain my former abilities. However, it’s taken sooo much longer than expected to get back into the groove, and I'm struggled a lot along the way now.

I’ll likely be adding more notes about the structure of objects and human body structure like hands as well. I’m terrible at figure drawing, but I have to overcome it if I want to draw the kind of art I envision. I just have to do it.
