is there any consensus on what to do when you were making a fanfic & really enjoying it and then you took a break and the main character of that fic who's an absolute minor bit character in the source material hung out in your brain for a while (gotta know their psyche if you're putting emotional weight on them) and ended up polymorphing into a fully original character for a completely different medium/setting so you can't totally go back to the fanfic & try to finish it without them in the backseat haunting this canon character who doesn't belong to you like a distorted mirror's reflection

Please help my family survive and get out of the Gaza Strip

Hello everyone

I am Maryam. I am 25 years old from the Gaza Strip. I will tell you my story after October 7 in light of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

I have a family consisting of 10 members Parents, 3 girls and 5 boys We were living a life full of happiness in our home in the city of Khan Yunis. Our lives turned into a nightmare during the war that changed our lives. We became without a home, living inside a tent on the street, and there were no necessities of life, such as water, electricity, clothing, and food.

In light of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, we went through very difficult circumstances. We were displaced several times, and during the displacement operations we lost everything, and we lost my house, which was destroyed by the Israeli bombing that did not stop.

We have lost the beautiful things that my family and I used to live with, and the most difficult beautiful thing we have lost is safety in peace, due to the violent bombing that surrounded us in all the places to which we were displaced.

I need donations for a safe exit from the Gaza Strip to safety for me and my family🙏❤️

actually creating an oc at 16 and not really thinking much of it at the time but then having no choice but to carry her with you in your soul as you experience the next 10 years of your life and your first foray into adulthood and you return to her again and again in moments where you need comfort and familiarity and you wait to hear what happens to her next meanwhile everything is happening to you at once and next thing you know you're 26 and she's outgrown you by a decade but she's wiser and softer and less angry and so are you and there are lines at the corners of her eyes and you have them now too and you hear her voice again and it makes you feel like you're 16 sitting at your dad's computer desk again and its sad because you're not sitting there anymore and you never will again but its okay because she got the happy ending she wanted and you know that you will too. anyway.
