When we attended at the UCC's Lecture Series Program on April 19, 2023, there was three (3) topics that we tackled with different guest speakers and entrepreneurs. Those are: Trademark, Incubation and Lean Startup.
What I learned about trademark is that it takes 50 years after the deceased person who copyrighted their trademark, before they lose their infringements and rights of the trademark. Then incubation has a great rule in finalizing your trademarks and uniques ideas that you can either make a business, investment or money. While the start-up, it helps those who wants their products, services or even online platforms to become unique and helpful to the consumer or society.
Basically, all the guest spears are very important in the entrepreneurial business world. They excess in success with their business and own ways. And some day, I hope my art commission will be successful so I could earn a lot of money before the OJT or any school activities with huge pocket money to start with.

OMG. I think this friend of my plagiarized my last blog, and they just used a thesaurus to some words and jumbled sentences to make it out it's a different structures. Like, all my hard work and you'll just plagiarize it just because you couldn't stand on your own to earn grade by yourself? Nag-college ka pa?!

This past few weeks, we had a topic in The Entrepreneurial Mind called “Do Things That Don't Scale.” It has three presentation files—two is a PDF file, one is a video presentation—so it means it was a long lesson to tackle.
There's a lot to learn in MVP (Minimum Viable Product). It guides your product to be Functional, Reliable, Usable and Design. And that includes these three steps, Test our Hypothesis, Launch Fast, and Do Things That Don't Scale. A Minimum Viable Product is the smallest feature set that gives the most Learnings, Feedback, Failures and Orders. It also gives the most Incremental and Iterative Way. MVP is also not a prototype. MVP also enables a test of hypothesis.
There was also a loop guide to minimize time amount. They are Ideas, Build, Code, Measure, Data and Learning that are in an infinite loop or cycle. They are very important to help you in time management and time sufficient.
While there's also six (6) business benefits of MVP. They are (1) Emphasis on Key Development, (2) Apps Insights and Feedback Collection, (3) Early Testing, (4) Less Costly, (5) Quick Development of Application, and lastly, (6) Market Validation. You will see here how your product has effects from the market. You will know if you're doing a good job at producing such product by using the MVP.
I'm a simp for rich and handsome CEOs such as Eric Ries. He's a daddy, for sure. Kidding! He mostly created The Lean Startup Cheatsheet. He quoted, "The lean startup method is not about cost, it's about speed.” He also stated that the Customer decides what is viable. So much for Customer is always right.
Anyway, that's what I learned about Do Things That Don't Scale. But I forgot some of them in our long quiz a week ago. I left a few blanks in my paper, but I'm confident I got most of the questions filled. It's hard since it was all enumerations and identifications. Thank you for reading my not-so-long blog! Love y'all! Muahx!

So, last week in our subject Entrepreneur Mind, we tackled about Opportunity Recognition and Idea Generation. It was very interesting and useful topic for us Office Administration students for instance.
What I learned about it was there was four kinds of essential qualities of an opportunity; the Attractive, Durable, Timely and something that values the end users. This one topic is every helpful since those are the first thing an entrepreneur should consider while making a business or service. That was just an essential qualities for opportunities, but there are also three ways to identify opportunities. Those are observing trends, solving a problem and finding gaps in the marketplace.
And there's also four kinds of trends that creates opportunities for entrepreneurs to pursue. They are Economic Forces, Social Forces, Technological Advances, and Political Action and Regulatory Chance.
I also learnt about four personal characteristics of the Entrepreneur such as person with prior experience, with cognitive factors, has a lot of social networks and the most important of all, creativity. The last one is very important when it comes to generating ideas, I assure you.
And lastly, I learnt that there are also techniques for generating ideas: the brainstorming, focus groups, and library or internet researching. Focus groups are very helpful if you're creating a corporation or cooperative businesses.
Our topic is very useful now that we also have to generate ideas for a not-so-common businesses or products for our subject. It is indeed a fun activity. And we might not know, we might actually create a useful product for the future generations. So, yeah. That's what I learned from our lesson on Entrepreneur Mind.

I'm back, for not posting any updates and stuffs from me. So, yeah. I'm here once again. Thanks for the 15 ffs! I really, really appreciate it!
I'm gonna share what's my favorite food, comfort food, desserts, side dish or even drinks; that I'll also recommend to y'all! They are Filipino or inspired foods from the other countries, or even processed.
So, I can say my favorite food or viand is the Sinigang. It's a sour soup that has either pork or beef meat in it, with a few vegetables. It is great for cold weathers such as rainy days or winter. Oh, I love sour things! You should try it when you can visit to the Philippines.
My comfort food is either ice cream or white chocolates. I love anything vanilla or milk!
I love a serve of Mango Graham Float as a dessert in an occasion. It can also be my comfort.
Speaking of side dishes, I looove a Bagoong with freshly sliced tomatoes thrown in. It's just heaven in my mouth. I can have that side dish all day.
While, I love a drink as long as it is milk or vanilla flavored. Whether it's milkshake or boba. And oh, I would die just to have a tall cup of cookies n' cream milkshake.
So, that's it! See on my next blog, peeps! Continue striving your day, and don't forget to smile.

Hey, guys! To learn more about me, here's the link to my Wattpad accounts. I'm an underrated writer who writes YA queer romance.
https://www.wattpad.com/user/SyricTW09
https://www.wattpad.com/user/Orange_Horizon
https://www.wattpad.com/user/xALPHA_SYRICx
I started writing on December 18, 2019 with my cringey story entitled High School Crush, with the account name of SyricTW09. I'm still cringing up until now, so I'mma stop. And then, I started to wrote a gay romance on my second account named Orange_Horizon, and came up with my on-going series called Bakasyon Series and Unibersidad Series. And the latest, my third—hopefully my last writing account on Wattpad—is under the penname of xALPHA_SYRICx that is dedicated for my El Matador Series.
I see my writings as a passion that will quench my curiosity on things that will never happen to me or my surroundings. Most of the time, I found my works cringe-worthy and is still lacks of something. I still don't know what, but I'm discovering uncovering it. But if you do want to read an undiscovered and underrated writer, I'm one of the right person. LOL.
So, yeah. Writing is one of my hobbies and passion. Thanks for reading. Love y'all! Muahx!

Quick introduction, I am Syric from the Philippines. I am currently (2023) a first year student in Central Mindanao University—based in Northern Mindanao. I am a 19 year-old who's very fond of books, music and art.
WHAT'S my favorite color?
- Well, for instance, my most favorite color is Orange. I especially love a vibrantly shade of Orange. And my gloomy side loooves the shade of Black. There's just something in shade Black that I love. I love these two hues!
WHAT'S my favorite music?
- OMG! I really love music, especially the main pop girls! Like, how could you not? Unless you're a misogynist.
My favorite song of all time is Just Dance by Lady Gaga. It inspires me to be who I am and just be happy because everything will be alright.
While my favorite artist as of the moment is Ava Max. Like, her songs are legit bop, but people are sleeping on her. Her sophomore album—who just got released on January 27, 2023—is super bop for me! It is called Diamonds & Dancefloors, and my top 3 favorite tracks are Ghost, Cold As Ice and One Of Us.
Stream Diamonds & Dancefloors by Ava Max y'all!
WHAT'S my favorite book of-all-time and/or what's my favorite book as of the moment?
- Well, given how much fluttering and fluffness this book has given me, I can say this is my favorite book so far. It's Divergent Series by Veronica Roth. It is always been a dream of mine to have physical copies of this series. It is just such a chef-kiss book! The movie adaptations are great, too!
While my current favorite book as of the moment is the Power Plays & Straight A's (CU Hockey Book #1) by Eden Finley and Saxon James. I am not a fan of hockey games for obvious reasons — because my country doesn't imply hockey sports in our schools because due to the fact that it must be held in a big stadium and large space consuming court, and we cannot have a tradition to play hockey above iced lakes due to the fact that we don't have winter seasons — but I really enjoyed the story all throughout. The ML is very understandable to the MC, and knows his boundaries. I'm off to reading the second installment of the series. LOL.
So, that's it. Have a nice day, everyone. Sending hugs and love~
