what if we built a train together and then you became a terrorist rebel because I was a tyrant and I sentenced you to death but actually just erased all of your memories and put you into the train because you were really smart and then your wife (rebellion leader) and former best friend (government official alongside me) found out that the engine of the train is running off of some guy's blood and tried to deal with that whole situation but just ended up unleashing eldritch horrors on the train and you got your memories back and confronted me and I told you that the dream whispered my name and the void sings to me and then got turned into an eldritch snake being only to get beaten up by your former best friend. and then we all died. and then 80 years later some random traffic cop has to watch the videos of eldritch horrors on the eldritch horror train black box and then witness the destruction of their world. haha. wouldnt that be fun. twirls a strand of hair around my finger

When playing KOTOR II, people keep only calling me "the Exile", and my immediate thought is "I have a name, stop calling me that", because I forgot they can't simply use my name because it's customized, but still in the first game, before the reveal, it felt way more natural how people talked about me without needing to say my name

Conclusion: it still bothers me I'm only "the Exile"

Thinking a lot about KOTOR II and everything that happens to Exile, and I think "someone please hold them", they really need comfort

They've literally been running from their emotions for 10 years and avoiding bonds. They need to be held, to be told "you can cry, I won't judge you", to have their back rubbed and hair caressed

Korriban was the first planet I visited after leaving Telos, and it was such a mistake, because I wasn't prepared for what happens in the tomb, it was such an exhausting situation and I didn't even have my lightsaber yet. And I just really wanted someone to comfort the Exile. But they didn't get anything.

I know the Clone Wars more than demonstrated that Anakin and Padme had the sublety of a Bantha on a starship, but I will die on the hill that the biggest tell is Anakin's perfectly styled curly hair. That boy spent 9 years with pin straight hair and then 10 years with a mandatory close cut and rat tail, yet he can suddenly maintain perfectly styled, notoriously difficult, curls in the middle of a war???

No way. That has Padme running-through-a-battlefield-in-full-couture Amidala all over it. There is no way she would let her man have bad hair, war or not.

Obi-Wan raised that boy. He has seen every questionable choice that Anakin has made through his awkward teen stages. He has also seen Padme go through a planet wide, life and death disaster as a teenager and still maintained multiple costume changes with full hair and makeup for her and her friends.

There is no way Obi-Wan did not see Anakin suddenly have a perfect knowledge of how to maintain the long hair he has never had before and not immidiately know that Anakin has spent an inappropriately large amount of time in a bathroom with Padme. No he took one look at Anakin and knew immidiately.

Playing KOTOR II and just went through an experience and in my head it went this way:

Atton: so, we got a minefield here

Jedi Exile: yes I understand

Bao-dur: so, we're going to remove the mines, then fight the turrets, okay, General?

Jedi Exile: yeah okay

Atton: GREAT! Now let us just...

Jedi Exile fucking running through the minefield and setting off the mines

Atton: ... are they stupid

The interesting thing about having a bad PC, you kinda invest more in retro gaming/old games because it'll probably explode trying to run a game that was released in 2015 or after

My specific problem is RAM, my laptop only has 4gb RAM, so it can't run most of the recent games

So, what else could I do other than play older games? The 2000s have a lot of good games even with graphics considered less than ideal today

Also websites like My Abandoware are saviors, I played a few games that aren't even available for sale anymore
