sadly the summer went really quickly and i have to go to college in a few weeks. in the remaining time i have, i’m trying to hang out with my friends before they go and i have to pack literally my life up. i’m so glad to have joined this rp and to have met everyone, y’all are so sweet. i wish y’all the best of luck <3

“you act like you’ve never been outside before,” she observed aloud, her arms crossed and her brows raised.

“well now’s a good time to learn i guess!” she encouraged, “and we all got to pitch in somehow –– i can help you out if you’d like, i just got to finish piling up the firewood.”

“I’m horrible at cooking! Why did my tent get stuck with that today?” Bradley face palmed, as she muttered to herself.

“Is all of the above an option?” she inquired hopefully. anyone who knew sireen even remotely, despite her not being much to share about herself, would know that she adored the outdoors, and every activity he had planned out excited her immensely. “we can combine them somehow? like on the way of the hike we could look for animals and when we reach the top, to cool down we can go swimming –– or is that too much? i’m sorry we can span it out if you’d like or if you just wanted to do one thing...” she rambled, attempting to subdue her elation. 

“So here’s my list of things I want to do on this camping trip. Take a hike up to the highest point, go to the lake and swim that deepest we can or go looking for wild animals. Which do you want to do?”

sireen shook her head shyly, not prepared for the other brunette’s spontaneous plan. she had only her bra and underwear to swim in, though she figured bathing suits had similar designs regardless –– she ruminated over it as the other shucked off her clothes. “how about i watch you?” she settled, though she was itching to swim since she got there. 

“We get use of this lake for a week, so at least tell me you are planning to join me?” the brunette explained, as she began to pull her top off to reveal her bikini top. “I know we have beaches back at the apartment but there is a rope swing, even more bonus to jump on in.”

sireen simply couldn’t sleep. the woods were like a second home to her, yet she felt the forest calling out to her, telling her to explore some more while the others were sleeping –– she had been far too busy building up the fire and attending to other people’s needs to really focus on herself and her inner thoughts, so she figured a long walk and a little introspection along the way would do her justice. she shuffled through the flora searching for nocturnal fauna lurking above, feeling the bark of the trees she passed to get an inkling of where she was –– she preferred the natural dearth of light around this time, only really using her sense of hearing and touch to guide her. however, at the sound of breaking twigs, she flicked on her tiny flashlight that emitted a very thin beam of light and headed toward the lake. by the water’s edge, sireen saw a man gliding his fingertips against the surface, making small ripples. she wanted to feel the water for herself, but she didn’t want to frighten him, so she meekly spoke up, “don’t mean to scare you, just coming over for the lake.”

The night hadn’t fallen that long ago, as Mason grabbed his shirt from his bag and, trying to be silent so we wouldn’t wake up his tent mates, he exited. Something was hanging on his mind, keeping him from sleeping and he imagined anything would be better than just rolling around uncomfortably in his sleeping bag. He decided to walk for a little while, clear up his mind, and as he put his shirt on he walked towards nowhere. A few minutes in he stopped by the lake, not that far away from the campsite, which he could still spot far away with all the different colored tents. He let his hand run on the cold water, before he took a seat on the hard ground, moving away a couple of broken twigs. His gaze was locked on the calm waters that he hardly notice he wasn’t on his own.

“what’s wrong with sleeping bags? i mean you couldn’t have honestly expected us to haul Tempur-Pedics out here.”

“This is where we have to sleep? No. That’s not happening.”

“exactly! this is a prime spot for dogs to let loose and have a little freedom, you know? i mean unless your dog is prone to run away.”

“I still don’t get why I couldn’t bring my dog.” Noah mumbled.

sireen was collecting logs with her fellow tent-mates, though the selection so far had only been thin twigs and branches. she had hardly gotten to know sofia, yet she and her were sharing a space for the camping trip –– it wasn’t as if sireen minded, she was just uncertain of how the other brunette operated and she didn’t want to step on any toes or get in her way. though sireen had to intervene when she saw a jet black spider dangle above the girl’s head. she crept over to tug at the cobweb and relocate the arachnid but she couldn’t reach unless sofia scooted over a tad. “don’t freak out but there’s a-” sireen couldn’t finish her forewarning when she felt a quick jab to her abdomen. it wasn’t sharp, but it was definitely alarming and she shifted back a few steps, “i am so sorry, i just didn’t think you’d want a spider for a hat.” 

The brunette had been sitting down by a broken log for a good couple of minutes, back facing the campsite where everyone stood. She hadn’t heard someone come behind her and once their voice surprised her, it was the female’s instinct to turn around to accidentally punch the other person.“ hey! “ Sofia instantly took her hand back to cover her lips just as she noticed who was behind her. “ you don’t just come up to people behind them like that!”
