I am freaking out right now!!
I woke up to the news that @taylorswift is FINALLY playing in Norway again, after 9 years! I’ve waited for this since the first time I saw her in my hometown of Oslo in 2011.
The only problem?
I live in New Zealand. Over 17000 km away. I don’t know if I’ll be able to go or not, because I don’t really have the money to fly home just for this, but there’s nothing I want more than to go see her with my friends.
And it’s right before my birthday😭
I am so happy and excited, but also so sad because my girlfriend is in New Zealand and I’ve chosen to stay here with her for the next few years. I don’t have much money cause I’m a masters student so it’s unlikely that I can afford the plane tickets.
But @taylorswift, thank you for finally coming back to Norway. ❤️❤️

I’m just a 25 year old Norwegian having the time of her life in Auckland. Thank you, @taylorswift my biggest dream is to someday meet you so I can get you to write ‘I’m doing better than I ever was’, so I can get it tattooed. That one phrase means so much to me and my mental health, just like your shows make my life better🧡🇳🇴🏳️🌈🇳🇿 @taylornation

Here’s my outfit for tomorrow, the Auckland show! I’ve suffered from depression since I was 9, and Taylor’s music has helped me get to where I am today. These two quotes are really important to me and I’d like to get one or both tattooed at some point ❤️ I’m a member of the LGBT 🏳️🌈 community, hence the flag, and the other arm has a Norwegian flag because I’m from Norway 🇳🇴!
Find me at C2, row J seat 3!

I’m in grad school now in New Zealand and it’s so stressful, but last Friday I flew to Sydney to see @taylorswift there and I honestly had the absolute time of my life. I’m going to the Auckland show tomorrow all by myself, and I will dance my heart out and sing until I don’t have a voice left! It’ll be my fifth time seeing Taylor (my home town, Oslo, in 2011, Shanghai night two and three in 2015 and Sydney and Auckland 2018), and every single show has been more amazing than I could’ve ever imagined🧡
Tomorrow I’ll be in C2 row J seat 3, come find me if you’re there, I’ll be wearing this shirt

@taylorswift I’m not American, I’m Norwegian, but I’ve voted in every single election since I turned 18. 3 years ago I was living in China, a group of us went to the Embassy in Beijing and voted from there. There is NO excuse not to vote, too much depends on it. Last year I worked at a polling station so I could take even more part in what makes a country great - its democracy.
As a member of the LGBT community who frequently goes to the US it terrifies me that there are still so many people who are against me and those like me, and wants to deny us basic human rights. Thank you for standing up and speaking your mind. You have singlehandedly gotten thousands of people to vote.
See you in Auckland on Friday!

I am so ridiculously excited for Reputation tomorrow!!
I wish I didn’t live in Europe, so I could get the Target magazines. I was accepted into Grad School in New Zealand today, and I really wanna buy them as a present for myself, but I also need to save money cause grad school is expensive, and I don’t have any money.
So proud of you @taylorswift

How come people have been bitches about Taylor for years, completely ignoring all of the incredibly nice things she's done, while a certain guy who beat his famous girlfriend is still allowed to play his music on the radio and very few people seem to say anything about it? I love the old Taylor, and I love the new @taylorswift

I don’t care if Hillary Clinton is corrupt. I don’t care if she lies, if she cheats, if she eats bowls of newborn chipmunks for breakfast.
She is literally the only thing standing in the way of a fascist dictator becoming President of the United States with a Republican majority congress that guarantees he can do anything he wants and nothing will be able to stop him.
I was and still am a Bernie supporter, and I hate a lot of things about Clinton, but none of that matters anymore. If Trump is elected, people are going to die. Women are going to die when Roe v Wade is overturned and Planned Parenthood is defunded. LGBTQ people are going to die when conversion therapy is further legalized and more bathroom bills are passed. POC are going to die as Trump rounds up Mexican immigrants, gives more power to the police, and fuels the fires of Islamaphobia. Poor people are going to die as Obamacare gets overturned and further cuts are made to welfare programs. And that’s just in this country. That’s not even taking account the all-too-likely outcomes of Trump starting new wars in the Middle East and having control of nuclear bombs that he’s said he ‘would not rule out’ using.
This is no longer even about ‘the lesser of two evils’. This is not ‘scare tactics’. This is literally life and death. Don’t fuck around and tell me you’re voting third-party or not voting at all, because you don’t have that luxury.

My mother is mildly religious, but my father and I are atheist and agnostic. My grandparents have never talked about religion so I don't know what they believe in. I'm from Norway and growing up I went to church every Christmas with my school, but I've only been to church on Christmas Eve once, because I was in my school choir and we were singing there and my very religious great grandmother was visiting. In Norway Christmas is still called Jul which refers to the Pegan holiday. I know what Christmas is about, but for me it's about being with my family. I have a very small family, for Christmas it's usually just my parents, 2 grandparents and I. I don't have any very religious friends, but we all celebrate Christmas. For me it's not a religious holiday at all.
what’s christmas even like in non-christian families? in completely non-religious families? like what do you tell your children? “well, kids, we’re eating a whole lot of food and spending a fuckton of money spoiling you because some other people somewhere believe their holy lord and saviour and the greatest person to walk the earth was born 2000 years ago. here’s a playstation.”
