Spousal Sponsorship Canada Visa
The Objective Of The Family Class Of Immigration Is To Reunite Close Family Members In Canada.
The Family Class allows Canadian citizens and permanent residents to sponsor their dependent children, parents and grandparents, and spouse or common-law/conjugal partner. Canada strongly supports keeping families together whenever possible. As such, the processing of Family Class applications is given the highest priority at Canadian Visa Offices.
The Spousal Sponsorship Category
The Spousal Sponsorship program is a subsection of the Family Class immigration category. Under this program, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident may sponsor a spouse or common-law partner for Canadian permanent residence.
Both the Canadian citizen or permanent resident (also called the ‘sponsor’) and the foreign national (the ‘sponsored person’) must be approved by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in order for the sponsored person to receive a visa.
In order to receive a visa through this immigration program, the sponsor and sponsored person must prove that their relationship qualifies under one of three categories:
Spouse
Common-law Partner
Conjugal Partner
NOTE: Canada recognizes same-sex marriage, and same-sex partners may be eligible to apply under any of the above three categories, provided they meet all eligibility requirements.
Outland Sponsorship
An Outland application is generally pursued when the sponsored partner is living outside of Canada. However, Outland applicants can still be in Canada and apply through the Outland program and may be permitted to travel in and out of Canada throughout the application process. Outland applications are processed through the visa office that serves the applicant’s country of origin, or where they have resided legally for at least one year.
Inland Sponsorship
The other potential option for Spousal/Common-Law Sponsorship is the Inland route. Inland sponsorship is when the couple is together in Canada and the foreign spouse/common-law partner has temporary status in Canada, either as a worker, student, or visitor. The person being sponsored may be eligible for an Open Work Permit, allowing him or her to work for any employer in Canada while the sponsorship application is being processed.

Express Entry Proof Of Funds Changes In 2022
Express Entry Proof Of Funds Changes In 2022
Express Entry Proof Of Funds Changes In 2022
Recently, Immigration Canada announced the increase of their settlement fund for Express Entry in 2022. This news has come in preparation for the new Express Entry draws being reinstated in July.
These changes only apply to the Federal skilled worker ( FSW) candidates and Federal skilled trade candidates. If you are part of the Canadian Experience Class, these changes don’t apply to you.
Click here to find out if you are eligible for express entry
To stay eligible in the pool, you must update your settlement fund in your Express Entry profile by June 8, 2022.
Updating your profile doesn’t affect the date and time that IRCC receives your information, so you’ll keep your rank if you’re in a tie-breaker situation.
Proof of funds is how you show Canada Immigration that you have enough money to settle in Canada. If are invited to apply, you must give written proof that you have this money. The most popular proof is Bank statements for at least 6 months. It can be from a personal account or a joint account.
You can’t use the equity on real property, or you can’t use borrowed money as proof of settlement funds. Additionally, you must prepare how you will bring that money when landing in Canada. It is a requirement that you tell the border officer that you are carrying more than $CAD 10 000. Here is a list of how you can bring money into the country without incurring any fines.
cash
documents that show property or capital payable to you, such as:
stocks
bonds
debentures
treasury bills
documents that guarantee payment of a set amount of money, which is payable to you, such as:
banker’s drafts
cheques
money orders
travellers’ cheques

PARENTS/GRANDPARENTS SUPER VISA TO CANADA
There are many ways to come to Canada on a temporary basis for family visits and a super visa is one of them. A super visa is one of the multiple entry Visas as visitors that Canada grants to parents and/or grandparents of Canadian residents and citizens. It provides its holder with multiple entry access up to 10 years of validity of the passport and each stay can be up to two years at each entry. The super-visa option was created mainly for grandparents and parents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents to enable them to have long-term stays. What is the difference between A super visa and a Multiple-entry Visa?
A normal multiple entry visa allows its holder to visit Canada for only a period of 6 months at a stretch. Meanwhile, the Super Visa allows a visitor to stay up to 2 years at a stretch in Canada. The main thing that differentiates both visas is that super visas have a status period of up to two years for every entry. Super Visa eligibility
Apart from meeting all the other multiple entry eligibility requirements, you must be: 1. A parent or grandparent of permanent residents or Canadian citizens 2. You must have a signed letter from the child or grandchild inviting you to Canada. The letter should include: – The names and the total number of occupants in the resident’s or citizen’s household. – A copy of your child’s Canadian citizenship or permanent resident document. 3. Medical insurance from an insurance company in Canada. The insurance has to be valid for a minimum of one year and have a minimum of $100,000 coverage. Proof that the insurance has been paid for must also be at hand. 4. Only those who reside outside of Canada are eligible to apply because the application must be done outside Canada. 5. You must be willing to take an immigration medical exam.
Another thing you should take note of is that the child or grandchild (the inviter) must be able to prove that they pass the mark for the lowest income cut-off (LICO) applicable at that time. This can be done with an employment letter showing their salary and the date of hire, tax return documents etc
As a permanent resident or Canadian citizen, this is one of the easiest ways to get your parent or grandparent into Canada for an extended stay.
Bear in mind that the Canadian government will also consider things like the purpose of the visit, your home country and ties to it, the family repute and overall finances. All of these are to make sure that you actually leave at the time stipulated.
How to Apply for Super Visa
Get all of your documents ready. Everything we have mentioned so far would be necessary during your application process. The application can be done online and to fast-track it even more we can handle the process for you. If you’re looking to bring your parents or grandparents into Canada for an extended stay, then a Super Visa should be what you apply for.
