Caretaker didn't have to wait long for the opportunity of escape to present itself. Whumper was careless, relying on their size and strength to keep Caretaker compliant. They hadn't locked Caretaker back into their restraints after their last torture session. That was their big mistake.

Caretaker pounced the next time Whumper opened the door. Pounced and did not slow their attack. No matter how much Whumper bellowed and tried to hurt them, Caretaker kept going. They didn't stop as Whumper collapsed to their knees. Didn't stop as Whumper begged them to. And they didn't stop as Whumper fell forward. They only stopped once they were certain that Whumper was truly unconscious.

"Hold on, Whumpee, hold on," Caretaker said as they rummaged through Whumper's pockets to find the key to Whumpee's shackles. "I'm getting you out of here. Hold on."

Whumpee didn't respond. Caretaker hadn't expected them to. Caretaker knew Whumpee needed a hospital. Between the severity of the torture they had experienced prior to Caretaker being brought here and their complete silence, Caretaker knew that Whumpee needed help.

"I've got you. Hold on." Caretaker quickly removed the shackles. "I'm going to carry you out of here. I'll get you to help. It's ok. I love you. I have you."

Caretaker lifted Whumpee into their arms. They shifted Whumpee delicately so that they were better balanced. Whumpee had lost so much weight it was easy for Caretaker to lift them. "I've got you, love. Hold on."

They quickly began to run through Whumper's home. The sooner they got out of there the better. The sooner they got Whumpee to safety the better. The sooner they got Whumpee to the hospital the better.

"Caretaker," a raspy voice said. It took Caretaker a few moments to realize it was Whumpee.

"Yes, love. I've got you. I'm here. We're getting out of here. You're safe."

Whumpee squeezed their eyes shut as tears streamed out the corners. They didn't say anything else as Caretaker ran with them. They leaned their head against Caretaker's shoulder as they cried. They were free. They were safe. Caretaker had found them. They were free. They were free. They were free.

Caretaker ran through the night, holding Whumpee tenderly in their arms. Whumpee was safe. Whumpee was free. They were reunited. They were together. "I've got you, love." And Caretaker was never going to let Whumpee go.

Anyways I think everyone should go watch win or lose, I feel like 90% of what I'm seeing is posts about how they censored a trans character and 10% of people actually praising the show for what it COULD do with what they are given, im not saying disney didn't do a bad or whatever, but it's one thing to to recognize the failings of a greedy corporate entity, and another to completly ignore and degrade the writers and artist that poured their souls into this series and that character

Here's what DIDNT happen:

-Disney didn't remove the trans plot line because of the election, theyre just like that. Theyve done it before theyll do it again regardless of the political climate, don't blame this on trump, blame it on network execs<<this is a fairly new take and it's so stupid. Animation takes time and the editing was done a year before the show released

-the character is still in the show, and will have her own episode still in the next batch of episodes released, we really don't know much information about her now still, and I'm holding out hope theirs even a small refrence to the original storyboard/script. But really at this point we just don't know how much has changed

-disney stepped in, pixar had nothing to do with the changes, only pointing this out because the writers at pixar obviously wanted this character to happen, but disney didn't want that story to be told on their platform, it's important to. You know, know your enemy and not just point fingers at everyone in the vacinity

-Chanel Stewart voiced Kai and is a trans voice actress, I don't see alot of people mentioning her and you should, she put alot into this character and was obviously really upset when her story was changed

This post isn't about letting disney off the hook, by all means pirate it, I actually encourage you to! But how often do you get an animated show about co-ed sports? That's something in it's own right that I'm amazed they were even able to keep in script, how often do writers get to try to make trans storylines that resonate with and include trans people? Even if it didn't go through, we know about it, talk about it!! Spamming 'fuck disney!!!' Under every pixar post isn't doing anything

Been pretty blown away by the rich symbolisms in your voices' designs, which makes me wonder if you thought of any new princesses/fan scenarios that could fit right in with the official ones? Asked my friend to draw one of mine, very proud of how it turned out.

Aww, thank you kindly! I think it helped that let myself be self-indulgent, so my general interest in clothes/accessories shone through. And I'm glad you're proud of yours! This game really has endless room for fan-made routes, it's great.

I actually have a few fan princesses, but I haven't talked about them here before because they are part of smutty fanfics, lol. Anyway this fandom is chill, so I'm happy to share.

This is the Reconstructed Damsel from She Conducts this Rapture, a story I'm very proud of.

Intentionally over-detailed and with themes of the everyday horror of sexist expectations, she's what happens if you help the Deconstructed Damsel get herself back into shape by reaffirming her right to personhood and simple desire. I have a lot of strong feelings about Damsel and the fandom's perception of her, which came out in the fic itself.

And this is the Creature, from The Creature from the Grey Cabin.

She's a mixture of Beast and Tower with a swamp basement and a water lily motif. Inspired by Swedish huldras as well as various cryptids, with themes of sloth + lust. Her hair is so long that even if you let her out, the ends of it linger in the basement. She'd never say so, but she's lost hope of ever leaving the cabin, and chases vice so she has something to do while she stays forever. Ultimately, she just wants a friend to hold close.

Overview of some topics when it comes to drawing characters who are burn survivors.

DISCLAIMER. Please keep in mind that this is an introductory overview for drawing some burn scars and has a lot of generalizations in it, so not every “X is Z” statement will be true for Actual People. I'm calling this introductory because I hope to get people to actually do their own research before drawing disabled & visibly different characters rather than just making stuff up. Think of it as a starting point and take it with a grain of salt (especially if you have a very different art style from mine).

Talking about research and learning... don't make your burn survivor characters evil. Burn survivors are normal people and don't deserve to be constantly portrayed in such a way.

I know that HRT gives you secondary sex characteristics in one direction or another, but we HAVE to stop telling nonbinary people that they “can’t pick and choose.” Of course, you can’t tell your testosterone that you’d rather not grow chest hair, but there are things you can do!

You could go on T so your voice drops and start shaving so you don’t grow a beard. You could start HRT and then stop once you get the permanent changes you like. You can pursue sterilization instead of bottom surgery. You can get top surgery without being on T. You can go on E and work out a bunch to bulk out your muscles. You can pursue laser hair removal or electrolysis to remove unwanted hair, with or without HRT. You could even just start hormones to see if you like it and then stop if it isn’t to your taste.

Obviously, you can’t order secondary sex characteristics a la carte, but we have to stop being so awful to nonbinary people. We should discuss the options we have, not shut down the conversation with “that’s what you get.”

do not log on to 4chan.com. do not get involved in passing olympics. you will always lose. do not put afab/amab/tma/tme in your bio, that is cisgender society trying to know your “real” gender. you do not exist to please cisgender people. there is no ‘right’ way to be trans. learn your goddamn history, listen to your elders. listen to other disenfranchised groups. listen to intersex people and check yourself for intersexism. listen to trans poc and check yourself for racism. listen to disabled people and check yourself for ableism. be open to learning always. labels are meant to fit you, not the other way around. you are not weird or predatory for simply being attracted to others. you’re fine if you’re not a skinny white twink or a barbie doll. you’re fine if your body is ‘weird’. you’re fine if you don’t have heavy or any dysphoria. it’s okay if you actually don’t want to transition or anything like that. life is worth living at any stage, you deserve to be happy. I SWEAR THAT YOU ARE OKAY!!!!!

Pre-whump Whumpee who talks nonstop about their interests, they’re the type of person to just come up and start talking to Caretaker unprompted about whatever has their attention that day. Caretaker gets a bit annoyed by it sometimes, but they don’t say anything, building resentment.

When Whumpee disappears, it all flips. Caretaker would do anything to hear them talk about their interests again. However, after Whumpee is rescued, they’re quiet, answering questions with a sentence or less, never wanting to go in depth. Caretaker tries to talk about anything they can think of, just to get the same few words out of Whumpee
