 introduction   :   lux   lives   by   herself   since   high   school   —   daughter   of   international   politics   who   are   never   there   &   a   sister   to   a   soldier,   in   the   military,   away   from   their   hometown.   her   house   is   huge,   and   the   inhabitants?   just   her   and   her   little   bunny,   mimi,   a   magical   medium   shifting   its   form   into   a   radiant   staff   whenever   the   pink   haired   girl   is   called   to   protect   the   universe.   in   love   with   music,   sometimes,   lux   posts   her   covers   on   her   instagram   to   the   small   following   of   her   closest   friends.   sweets   &   sugary   snacks   keep   her   awake   after   countless   all   -   nighters.   as   of   late,   she   only   wishes   for   more   time   during   day   &   night,   to   sleep   and   rest   and   catch   up   with   her   loved   ones.

 prequel   :   lux   is   a   lone   guardian,   taking   the   oath   by   herself,   not   really   knowing   yet   she's   destined   to   burn   bright   &   collapse   as   furiously   as   she   burns.   student   by   day,   attending   valoran   city's   university,   luxanna   keeps   her   newly   acquired   powers   a   secret   from   everyone,   including   her   best   friends,   in   order   to   protect   them   all   from   the   threats   emerging   from   the   void   by   night.   it's   something   that   eats   her   alive   from   the   inside   —   lies   &   deception,   constant   avoidance   &   excuses   she   comes   up   on   the   spot   to   cancel   meetings,   hangouts,   group   projects...   it's   all   for   them,   she   reminds   herself,   suffering   in   silence,   guilt   gnawing   at   her   from   within.   all   for   them.

 season   one   :   no   longer   alone   &   chosen   as   leader   by   the   first   star   (   whose   judgement   luxanna   questions   silently,   like   —   why   not   janna?   isn't   janna   already   a   guardian   for   a   long   time?   ),   little   light   attempts   to   balance   out   her   duties   both   as   daughter,   student,   friend   &   the   protector   of   the   universe.   it's   not   easy   but   certainly   sharing   the   burden   amongst   schoolmates   whom   she   can   trust   &   trusts   deeply   helps   with   carrying   the   weight   of   the   world's   safety.

 season   four   :   in   which   with   a   heavy   heart,   lux   passes   her   oath   to   new   guardians   —   entrusts   kai'sa   with   the   task   of   leading   another   team,   to   take   care   of   valoran   and   nearby   cities,   to   never   fall   for   darkness   no   matter   how   tempting   it   is.   she   offers   her   an   emblem,   teary   -   eyed,   before   disappearing   from   within   the   known   universe,   leaving   her   dearest   ones   behind.   now,   yet   again   alone,   she   traverses   through   galaxies   in   pursuit   of   zoe   &   syndra,   hoping   to   banish   the   threat   once   and   for   all.   sometimes,   only   sometimes,   she   allows   herself   to   visit   —   observing   from   afar   how   the   newest   guardians   are   doing,   how   her   friends   are   holding   out,   &   with   awe,   staring   at   the   statue   of   hers   in   the   middle   of   the   city   square.

 important   connections   :   jinx,   childhood   best   friend,   inseparable   since   kindergarten.   ezreal,   with   whom   she's   close   friends   with,   her   first   friendly   introduction   to   ahri's   team.   sylas,   the   guy   from   that   one   hardrock   band,   who   found   lux's   music   &   fell   victim   to   the   darkness.   ahri,   entrusted   leader   of   the…   somewhat   rivalring   team,   sharing   the   same   burden.

 luxanna   crownguard   comes   from   a   prestigious   family,   one   of   the   most   powerful   &   influential   clans   from   outside   japan,   their   area   of   protection   extending   throughout   entirety   of   europe.   possessing   the   possibly   innate   technique   of   light   &   elemental   weaving,   lux   is   considered   one   of   the   strongest   sorceresses   on   the   continent   —   no   one   before   has   bore   such   powers   (   that   range from   creating   little   sparks   to   unleashing   laser   -   like   energy   without   sweat,   &   it's   only   talking   about   luminosity   ).

 part   of   the   illuminators,   an   underground   organization   working   with   other   nations'   jujutsu   societies,   lux   is   being   sent   out   to   assist   japan   once   sukuna's   awakening   is   being   revealed   publicly.   with   all   elements   at   her   disposal   &   equipped   with   contagious   optimism,   little   light   is   ready   to   fight   the   king   of   curses   and   ensuring   the   world's   safety   by   any   means   necessary.

 ↳   the   departure   from   her   homeland   of   demacia   happened   due   to   her   involvement   with   a   curse   user   named   sylas   who   has   recently   escaped   his   captivity   with   the   usage   of   luxanna's   cursed   energy   &   powers.   although   lux   is   not   held   accountable,   she   is   removed   from   sylas'   case   completely   and   forbidden   from   pursuing   his   chase.   it's   worth   mentioning   it   was   sylas   who   taught   lux   everything   she   knows   about   cursed   techniques,   making   her   stronger   than   any   sorcerer   in   her   area   ;   it   was   due   to   her   energy   being   too   wild   and   hard   to   contain   none   of   her   family's   teachers   were   good   enough   to   help.

 albeit   first   to   question   authority   and   their   methods,   she's   taught   well   to   obey   &   listen,   even   if   she   disagrees   with   certain   ideals   ;   this   however   doesn't   stop   her   from   following   what   her   heart   tells   her   &   bending   the   rules   to   fit   her   version   of   what's   good   or   bad   (   for   example,   she's   unsure   about   killing   yuji   —   she   doesn't   want   to   take   the   boy's   life,   hoping   to   find   a   different   solution   whilst   being   aware   of   potentially   endangering   non   -   jujutsushis   ).

 she's   not   the   sword,   but   the   shield   —   and   wishes,   above   all,   to   protect   the   innocent   &   teach   younger   generations.

 domain   expansion   :   prison   of   light   is   a   beautiful   cathedral   of   marble   &   stained   glass,   of   thrones   and   knights   and   weapons   and   shields.   upon   entering,   the   luminescence   traps   its   victim   in   a   cell   with   bars   of   pure   radiance,   scorching   hot,   melting   all   it   touches   —   while   petricide   walls   drain   its   cursed   energy,   letting   lux   absorb  it   all   up at will.
