I'm going to say something kind of controversial, and believe me I take no joy in it:
Antauri should've stayed dead after I, Chiro.
It would've made the insane stakes that were raised in that episode feel real, and ultimately would've been more impactful narratively. The monkey should've died.
Which, all fine and good for me to say that now, I guess, even though watching this as a child probably would've soured the whole show for me. And for as much as I'll argue that I, Chiro is the pinnacle of the entire series, if I'm being honest the only reason I can make it through the episode is because I know it all turns out in the end.
That said! I stand by what I've said. I think having Antauri stay dead could've elevated the show to something amazing, story-wise.

Where Jasper has to confront his family to survive that threat.
He has never had any problems fighting robots, villains and monsters, but when it comes to those monkeys who raised him, educated him and loved him?
That was another level for him, because his family was the reason he became a defender.

So! Seeing as we never see Chiro's school in the actual show, I like to imagine he dropped out after he found the monkeys. Lien and Jinmay, on the other hand, have not! Hence, every now and then they sneak him back in to watch a game or something
(Lien's kinda the only one paying attention, though...)

So, monkey question. Did we ever had confirmation that Mandarin was sent to the Verans along with Antauri?
Or we just assumed that because Antauri went and Mandarin was like the "best" monkey and he had similar abilities as Antauri?

Jasper has basically the same attacks as Chiro, however, Jasper prefers to do things his own way, as well as opting for a somewhat different fighting style than his predecessor.
