My first time as a reviewer! Let’s check it out!!
No trip to Chiang Mai is complete without a hop to a cafe. But, cafes have burgeoned in the Chiang Mai metropolis. Mentioning a-must visit, that’s a no-brainer to suggest the Baristro Asian Style.
The instagrammable, savory dessert is offered in a modern Japanese cafe with wood-based furniture and unpolished concrete walls and ceiling at the Baristro Asian Style, Tambon Su Thep, Amphoe Mueang, Chiang Mai.
Surrounded by low-rise buildings and convenient transits, hopping here required little effort and it was a great place to start the day.
The cafe is embraced by large tree canopies stretching around to deliver a sense of serenity. Even though the exposed concrete and wooden furniture are appealing, what attracted my interest most is the dessert entries.
To begin with cakes, the taste is delicious overall as expected with high-quality ingredients.
Out of them, I would say a Matcha Mille crêpe cake is the most highly recommended, especially for matcha lovers. Stacked with layered crepes and condensed green tea pastry creme, the cake is pillowy soft with an intense matcha scent and a subtly sweet sauce on top. The perfect combination between crepe cake and matcha is a masterpiece of the Baristro Asian Style.
On the flip side, the iced Matcha latte was not wow since its condensation was on a slightly-diluted level. The overall beverages so far were on average. I did not experience any surprise. But, the tranquil and joyful ambience can compensate for that; plus, you can have tonnes of pictures from almost all corners of the cafe.
