Zivah nodded. “Yeah. I think that’d help.”
@aherooravillian
Zivah looked…scared as she paced around the living room. She practically jumped out of her skin when the door opened. “Maman.” she breathed. She was silent for a very long moment. “…I think I have a new power.” She chewed anxiously at her bottom lip and kept pacing.

Zivah nodded as she listened. "Oh." she breathed.

Zivah relaxed slightly at that. "You do?"

Zivah shook her head. "Not really, Maman." She sighed. "I was fighting again today and....I had this guy by his throat and I looked into his eyes and...he looked terrified of me. People have been scared of me before but...but not like this. It was true fear in his eyes, Maman. And I caused it. But not just because I was hurting him but...it's like I brought that fear out of him just by looking at him."

It took Zivah almost five minutes to reply because she was laughing so hard.
"No, Maman but it's close enough"
"And incredibly cute"

Zivah chuckled. “Alright. Whatever you say, Maman.” She then got into the backseat between Jayden and Madison.
Eleanor pulled her car up to Zivah’s school and got out. “We’re going to Avalon” she said, “Off the grid”.

Zivah looked slightly confused but mostly amused. “Is this about me laughing at the Jesus’ coming mug?”

Zivah’s head tilted, her interest obviously peaked. “Curses?” She could easily use curses to her advantage but she wasn’t sure if she wanted to go that far. Plus she didn’t need curses since she could make anybody more scared then they’d ever been in their entire life with just a single look. She then shook her head, trying to dissipate her interest. “I don’t need curses.”
Alice rolled her eyes at Zivah as she crunched the ripped out page from the spell book in her hand. “Really” she asked, “You’re being a goody two shoes?” She rose a eyebrow. “You’re talented kid” she said, “Don’t throw it away on some Beckham rich shit.”

Zivah nodded. “I try to be. I kinda have help on that front though considering I know almost every move a person is going to make before they make it. I just gotta learn how to dodge. I can hit hard and fight well but I’m not fast enough on my feet just yet to dodge or block everything.”
“You fight a lot huh?” Felix’s gaze was soft, a rare thing. “Be careful? Eleanor cares about her and that’s hard for her to do.”

Zivah’s eyebrows furrowed together and she folded her arms. “How am I throwing it away?”

Zivah's eyebrows furrowed together and her head tilted to the side. "Excuse me?"
Lyndsey was pissed. “I get you’re great at magic” she said, she took a long swig of her whiskey. “But some of us want to pass our classes!”

Zivah crossed her arms. She was clearly upset about the whole situation. Mostly mad. "He was hurting that girl. I had to do something. I'm not into letting men abuse women. Or anybody abusing anybody for that matter."
Georgina looked worriedly at Zivah. A bruise had formed along the side of Zivah’s cheek and Georgina was searching for a healing spell. “You can’t fight everyone” she scolded, “Eleanor worries about you. Which means now I have to worry about you.”

"I know, Maman. Once I'm done with him he'll be sorry. And if I find out any of his buddies have done that to other girls then they'll be sorry too."
@aherooravillian
As Zivah walked through the door she looked angry and distant. She had a black eye and a bruised and bleeding cheek. Her knuckles were bloody and bruised, her hands shaking.

Zivah nodded. "He has. And he will again. I'm not going to let him get out of this like I'm sure his buddies have many times. I can fight my own fights, Maman."

"That's not what this was. Not really. One of the guys from Emily's group decided he wanted to 'turn me straight' or whatever. He didn't even have time to get his dick out before I managed to get out of his grip and kick his ass. He won't be seeing straight for days. I'm sure of it." Sometimes Zivah forgot that Eleanor was still her mom and not just a friend which led to the use of that kind of language. Though she was sure the language wouldn't be what bothered her.
