HEAVY. BREATHING.
(fanfic) the water is fine
Tumblr media
The story of Davos Blackwood and Aeron Bracken was written in the waters of the Red Fork river. Every word was a pebble on the riverbed, every action collecting like dark silt beneath them, every drop of blood washed away as if it had never been shed - as if they had never existed at all.
And yet, they had existed, two souls drawn to the river’s water again and again until their veins were filled with water and the river was filled with their blood.
-----------
(A canon-compliant account of Aeron Bracken and Davos Blackwood over the years, told in small snippets from the Red Fork river.)
And here we are: the last chapter. I hope readers have enjoyed this! Thank you to everyone who has read it and supported it.
I will also post a very last chapter that is an alternative cover poster for the fic.
Notifications! :)

a fate woven – a fate undone
(A Jacaerys Velaryon x Helaena Targaryen fanfic)
The flashes of dragonfire. The deafening sounds of dragons’ roars. One stray arrow, then another, and another. All hitting their mark. There, holding onto some flotsam, she saw him. His dark, wet curls clung to his face as the water around him began to turn a bloodied crimson.
Jacaerys Velaryon was going to die.
Helaena Targaryen held his fate in her hands like one held a fragile thread to be cut by sharpened shears. She had not been able to change what led up to the loss of Aemond's eye and it still cut her deep.
But Jacaerys did not deserve to die.
════════════════════════════
In which Helaena tries to go against what her dreams have told her to save a life, or many.
Chapter 5: new chapters of a brand new book | Now posted!

the same as when first I saw you
(A Davos Blackwood x Aeron Bracken fanfic)
When Davos Blackwood was five years of age he had seen Aeron Bracken playing with his kinsmen near the boundary stones at the Mill by the Red Fork river. His older brother Samwell the Younger had stopped him from joining in the game of swords.
Thirteen years later, Samwell the Younger was dead and buried in the godswood near Raventree Hall, and Davos saw Aeron again; this time in a seedy tavern. There was no one to stop Davos from approaching this time, and the pretty young man was a target he would not give up chasing.
