Hope you enjoyed this episode!
For the moment, at least, I won't be doing any more. This month I'm doing ZD30 (the screenwriting equivalent of NaNoWriMo), as well as trying to finalise Snowflakes to submit to the BBC Open Call, so my time currently is very limited and I just don't have the space to continue.
There's also some other reasons I won't bore you with, but safe to say, I can't carry on for now. In the future? Who knows?
But it has been fun for me, and I hope it has been for you too.
Don't forget to be weird as fuck.
-Alice

Geez, Alice. Way to kick someone in the (metaphorical) dick. Are all your Sweary projects going to alternatingly make me laugh and rip out my heart? I hope so because it's brilliant.
Funny things that hurt in all the right ways is pretty much my brand at this point. This month I'm writing a comedy script about someone with depression and the opening scene is just the darkest of comedy.

It's quality content like this that keeps me coming back to your work, Alice.
Also, Luz seems to be channeling Glimmer at the moment. I like it.
I just love how it tends to go
Luz: No violence. Someone else: But what if... violence? Luz: Okay VIOLENCE!!
and honestly, who could blame her?

Yeah 🥹 I think I'll be weird as shit 🥹
As you should be! Life is too fucking short to care what random strangers on the street or on the internet think about you. Just find the other people who are weird as shit in the way you are, and you're home.

What, BESIDES Dav Pilkey?
The guy who did this
I wasn't familiar with the author, so I looked him up and he seems like a good example of accepting when you fucked up and actually doing something about it. I'm a big "it's not the mistake, it's what you do about it that counts" kind of person.
I'm just glad not every kids author is a total trash can.
