So today I learned that Rocky Horror got a sequel spiritual successor THING 6 years after it came out. It’s called Shock Treatment.

I’ve been told it’s still a musical, and that it’s wayyyy less horny than the first one. Brad and Janet return, but are played by different actors. There is no Tim Curry (😢) but Richard O’Brien and Patricia Quinn still play Riff Raff and Magenta a completely new and original pair of siblings named Cosmo and Nation. I’ve also been told the soundtrack is a lot more varied than the first one’s, and I’m always a sucker for different genres in musicals. So I guess we’ll see how this one goes.
