Tiny beautiful details: little CloTi hint

Final Fantasy universes are populated by all kind of fantastic creatures and monsters, like Moogles, Chocobos, Bahamuts, etc..

Cloud has always been compared to Chocobos by fans because of his hairstyle. In the OG Tifa points out this resemblance.

In Chapter 9 of the Remake Chocobo Sam compares Tifa to a Bomb. The name of the side quest is A dynamite body so we can guess the reason of his comment.

Interestingly enough, in the OG Tifa compares Cloud to a Chocobo when the group finds the bird’s nest on the way to Mt Corel, and the “Bombs” could be fought for the first time on the bridge in Mt. Corel.

The following picture is Tifa’s key art for Final Fantasy VII Remake. She is wearing her default weapon, the Leather Gloves. Their description is: Well-worn leather gloves that have seen their fair share of fights. It implies that she’s had them for a long time.

A few of my favorite Cloti Moments so far:

Cloud getting passive-aggressive with all the guys that are being “too friendly” with Tifa (first example: the S7 Slums Items Store fuckboi)

Cloud and Tifa agreeing to dress up in matching “fancy” clothes and hitting the town for fun sometime (DATE! ITS A FUCKING DATE YOU TWO)

Cloud making an attempt to really listen to Tifa and sticking around for her after Marle talks his ear off about being too cold

Marle implying they both had a “good rest” after “changing the filters” ;) (to those that haven’t played the “Alone At Last” quest, they actually did just change the filters)

Cloud complimenting Tifa’s beauty drink-making creativity

Cloud noticing Tifa’s fear of jumping off a moving train and going to help her

The Landing and Cloud making sure she’s okay

Bonus: Cloud teasing Tifa about being really light to carry and Tifa doing her best to act casual about it

Hello! I wasn’t sure how to ask this but during the hugging scene with Tifa, I wasn’t sure how to interpret her reaction to realizing the flower Cloud gave earlier came from Aerith and she just says “I knew something was strange” or something like that I don’t remember 🙈 idk am I over analyzing

She says that in response to Cloud giving it to her. She even says "when did you get so thoughtful" during chapter 2. Cloud doesn't give flowers, is the point. She's just commenting on how It's not like Cloud to buy them unprompted and she's right. Aerith insisted by saying "your gf will love it". And he gave it to Tifa, who did love it.
