“If you were to ask me what Throne of Glass is about…
I’d say it’s about the epic journey of a teenage assassin in a corrupt kingdom.
But if you were to ask me on a deeper level, I’d say…
It’s about how small acts of kindness can change the outcome of the world.
Money to a barmaid, waiting an extra minute to shoot, a warning in a competition, a cloak in a cold dungeon, a message on a wall, sharing your lavender soap.”

i am a boyband girl at heart. there was not a boyband craze within my age group that i wasn't apart of. my friends and i each had our own favorite in every boyband. being in those fanbases were the first time that i felt like i had a hyperfeminine space where i was allowed to love things hard.

The Tortured Poets Department is a great reminder that women don't owe the world pretty. Taylor Swift doesn't owe anyone an easily digestible pretty pop album wrapped in a bow with short songs you can make TikToks to. She's allowed to present something raw, uncomfortable, and vulnerable to the world.

I want an adaptation of Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein where you never see the creature’s face. It’s just out of frame or you see him from behind and all you have are people’s reactions to seeing him.
It’s just so hard to visually capture the idea of him because I don’t think it’s just that he has a messed up mug or looks like a corpse that scares people, I think they see him and their instincts go “that thing was not made by god, that thing should not exist. You don’t belong here”
I really like the idea that the creature’s effect on people is more psychological than anything else but makeup doesn’t really cover that, leaving it up to the imagination however….

if i had a nickel for every time i thought taylor swift was going to announce a re-recorded album at an award show but got up there and announced a brand new album instead, i would have 2 nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice
