House Sparrows
April 2024
House Sparrows are apparently in quite a steep decline, but in our garden they do really well.
They feast on the hanging suet feeders and the seed trays on the ground and they're very good at clearing up the spilled seed

Jay
The jays in our garden are SO secretive that this is the last time I got a half decent shot of one, otherwise it’s a fleeting glance.
My daughter sees them in her south east London garden, but, again, they’re so secretive and quick it’s never a clear and close up photo.

Safe to say we have ourselves a female here.
Her juvenile red cap has all but disappeared.

Juveniles 2021
Photos posted to show varying wing and neck patterns and hopefully as they mature we may still be able to identify some individuals who stay around.
