Traveling is making following macros more difficult.
But in reality. It’s more difficult because I’m not making it a priority.
I need to reevaluate where I’m at and my decision making process.
What’s more important to me? Instant gratification under the false pretense that it’s ok because I’m traveling? Or maintaining what I’ve fought so hard for up to this point?
I need to make better choices. Better decisions. And remind myself what’s important.

The Routines Make It Easier
Along with any change in life, or rather even with just living life, I’ve come to realize that having a routine makes things much easier to maintain. I’m sure you’ve heard this, and I had heard it in life many, many times. It’s so true though. When I decided to take my life back and get back into establishing and maintaining priorities, a routine was a must. Here’s my nightly routine:
Measure, prepare and cook the next days meals to meet my macro goals.
Take my nightly supplements
Prepare my gym bag for the next day
Prepare my electrolyte drink for the next day
Just doing these things every night helps make sure I meet my goals for the following day, and also, since I repeat the behavior nightly, it helps subconsciously prepare my body for sleep.
If you’re going to do anything, or make something a habit, establish a routine, and stick to it.

The Back Story
(Fair warning, this will jump around and likely not follow a logical thought pattern or flow)
Taking my life back, and deciding to make the important things a priority in life so that they really are priorities. This Tumblr will serve as a way for me to vent and document my progress moving forward.
I hope that in some way, if anyone finds this blog, and decides to read it, that it will motivate or provide inspiration. Who knows, there may just be some like minded people out there.
The long and short of it. Used to be fat. I lost weight with the paleo diet. Then got lazy and started eating like crap again, and thusly, gained all the weight back. Then I would lose weight, but get lazy and not maintain and gain it back. This repeated for. a few years, and then I lost it with the Keto diet. Then I got lazy and stopped keeping track of what I was eating, but would guesstimate my macros. Eventually got serious again, but transitioned into carnivore as an elimination diet. After 30 days, I reintroduced veggies, and my stomach didn’t like it. So now I do carnivore with the only plant matter being peanut butter here and there, plus spices/hot sauce for flavoring food.
My goals:
Get shredded like I was when I was at the peak of my keto weight loss.
Gain more muscle through weight lifting
Quit all forms of tobacco completely.
Stay sober and develop better techniques for fighting alcohol cravings.
Become closer to God.
Thanks for reading, if you have.
