Those chips aren’t worth it
That drink isn’t worth it
Those extra calories aren’t worth it
You’ve done so well. You’ve gone so far.
A little fuck up will RUIN you.
It’ll ruin your progress.
It’ll ruin your motivation.
It’ll ruin all those daily accomplishments that you’ve been working so hard for these last couple of days
And worst of all
It’ll lead to a binge
Because might as well, right?
Then you’ll hate yourself even more
And give up and go back to how you were before
And all that progress you’ve made will go down the drain
All because of a single craving
So don’t do it.
Don’t satisfy what you’ve been thinking about these past couple of hours.
Chug some water and wait for it to go away
Or sleep it off
But don’t give in
Because then you’ll feel so much better knowing you beat the living SHIT out of that craving
Because now you’re even closer to that goal you’ve been working so hard for
And with every victory
Whether it be BIG or small
You’ll find it to be so much more easier to get to where you want to be

i basically live off of these snacks if rather have one than a ‘meal’ <3
‘fresh’ snacks
carrots - 37 cals per cup
celery - 10 cals per stick
apple slices - 95 cals per apple
banana - 100 cals per banana
grapes - 66 cals per cup
strawberries - 6 cals per 20g
packaged snacks
popcorn - sweet 63 cal per 13g bag
bear pure fruit range - 27 cal per fruit roll (black currant)
crackers - cream crackers 35 cals each
rice cakes - 27 cals each

depression tips™
shower. not a bath, a shower. use water as hot or cold as u like. u dont even need to wash. just get in under the water and let it run over you for a while. sit on the floor if you gotta.
moisturize everything. use whatever lotion u like. unscented? dollar store lotion? fancy ass 48 hour lotion that makes u smell like a field of wildflowers? use whatever you want, and use it all over.
put on clean, comfortable clothes.
put on ur favorite underwear. cute black lacy panties? those ridiculous boxers u bought last christmas with candy cane hearts on the butt? put em on.
drink cold water. use ice. if u want, add some mint or lemon for an extra boost.
clean something. doesn’t have to be anything big. organize one drawer of ur desk. wash five dirty dishes. do a load of laundry. scrub the bathroom sink.
blast music. listen to something upbeat and dancey and loud, something that’s got lots of energy. sing to it, dance to it, even if you suck at both.
make food. don’t just grab a granola bar to munch. take the time and make food. even if it’s ramen. add something special to it, like a hard boiled egg or some veggies. prepare food, it tastes way better, and you’ll feel like you accomplished something.
make something. write a short story or a poem, draw a picture, color a picture, fold origami, crochet or knit, sculpt something out of clay, anything artistic. even if you don’t think you’re good at it.
go outside. take a walk. sit in the grass. look at the clouds. smell flowers. put your hands in the dirt and feel the soil against your skin.
call someone. call a loved one, a friend, a family member, call a chat service if you have no one else to call. talk to a stranger on the street. have a conversation and listen to someone’s voice. if you can’t, text or email or whatever, just have some social interaction with another person. even if you don’t say much, listen to them.
cuddle your pets if you have them/can cuddle them. take pictures of them. talk to them. tell them how u feel, about your favorite movie, a new game coming out.

Glue on sparkles, glitter, diamonds, newspaper and magazine clippings, lace & ribbon, anything else that may fancy you. Remember, you don’t have to be the same person you were a minute ago. 6. Buy some pretty lights and string them up in your room. Turn off all the lights except for one when you go to bed. Remember it isn’t always dark and lonely. Change your perspective. 7. Lay outside one night. Breathe in breathe out. Accept that you are only one person and cannot do everything at one time. You can take your time. The creator of the stars you’re looking up at did not do it all in one day. Pace yourself. 8. Get up every morning and stand in front of the mirror. Naked, fully clothed, backwards, upside down, who cares how, just do it. Observe yourself. Notice the wrinkles under your eyes from laughing a lot. Count your freckles. Admire your ass. Then name 3 things you love about yourself. You need to love yourself.”

i always see posts on here talking about becoming skinny so “he can lift you easy as a feather”, or “so your crush will notice u!” and ofc there’s nothing wrong with this, but for me and i’m sure a bunch of others: it’s about control. it’s about me being the one who decides what i eat, when i eat. it’s about taking control of my body and watching myself become what i’ve always wanted to be. it’s about becoming the girl people are both jealous and afraid of because she looks so slender and her stomach roars and yet she has the self control to only eat an eighth of what’s put on her plate. it’s about choosing any item of clothing i like and slipping easily into it, having all clothes be baggy. i’m doing this for me, and i know it’s crazy to a certain degree, but i fucking adore it because it’s the one thing in my life that is mine entirely.
