What was it like growing up getting ready for war

I always thought it was an honor to fight for the Republic. It must be important if I'm made to grow twice as fast to get to war that much sooner and fight for something I believed in. Problem is, I believed in what I was told. All children work that way. You internalize what you're told is important. I look at kids who grew up in different circumstances and it turns out that they aren't growing up with constant nightmares, there isn't a chip in their heads, and their play time doesn't revolve around destruction.

I used to think it was an honor to fight for the Republic. I wouldn't exist without the war, but that doesn't mean I have to be grateful for it. Clones care about each other. We love each other, even if we can't stand one another sometimes. Listen, if you grew up being manipulated and coerced or you know what it's like to think you know what's going on in your life only to find out it was a twisted lie? That's what it's like. Now, I know my fellow clones get it, but if you grew up in similar circumstances albeit a different context then you probably already have some idea.

Sure I do. My favorite is a vibroblade I picked up on Felucia. Crosshair helped me barter for it with a few credits and a spare part Tech said we could do without. It's got a secure grip and doesn't get stuck in droids or, uh... anything else.
