Yeah so I started CS4 but while I liked what I saw (ESTELLE MY BELOVED) I was struggling to have much of a reaction to it, which is proof I need a tolerance break of sorts.

I actually got spoiled on Millium way back because I saw someone who was reaaaaallly mad about her because she was too "immature" and they were happy "that thing happened to her at the end of CS3". Gee I wonder what that could be.

Anyway I started liking her more after that just to spite that guy; her death did get a couple tears out of me when I saw how it was gonna happen.

kinda obvious that lughman was gonna be someone important but hey it's fine. (EDIT: should've maybe advanced the text a bit more before posting this lol. the additional wrinkle of being Alisa's dead as fuck dad is neat)

but next time they have a scholar character who doesn't open their eyes much, he should be just completely normal but the game keeps insisting that he's the twist villian. everyone's like "i don't trust that guy" for no reason, he keeps showing up in the same places as the main party but it's genuinely just a coincidence. right before the final dungeon he appears, takes off his glasses and opens his eyes for the first time aaaaand he trips on his shoelaces off a cliff

it *is* really funny that Father BarkWoof (or whatever his name was) had us running around after him in CS2, left a letter that basically said "see you next game lol" and then died off screen. dick move.
