small update. was going to get some blog maintenance done but tumblr refuses to load the pages and everything else half the time so i’ll be trying again tomorrow in hopes that it’ll be working then.

Small update and to do list;  both to keep myself updated on what I still have to do as well as give those who may find this blog an idea of what is going on and what is currently being worked on as well as the blogs to find me on. If you have any recommendations of blogs I should definitely check out, please let me know. I am desperate for new, wonderful writing partners.

This has been on my mind for long but I’m gonna do this - please reblog this if you’re comfortable with pre-establishing relationships. I do not mean “met at the grocery store two weeks ago” or “have a common friend”, but rather stuff like “have been best friends since kindergrden”, “go for a beer every friday”, “friends with benefits”, “dated in highschool”, “hate each other’s guts because -insert reason-”  etc. Something meaningful (but not necessarily shippy) and I mean with muns/characters you have not interacted with, because I cannot believe I am the only one who prefers jumping right into the heart of the human interaction.

★ BEN SOLO.

the presence of everyone in the Force is almost overwhelming. there is a reason that Ben Skywalker had once cut himself off from the force. Ben Solo was never that lucky. besides, his brother would never have let him. ben solo has had to cope with the voices in his head for years, and he has worked out how to deal with them, even as they attempted to mold his thoughts in a certain way. “I am not overwhelmed.” he replies quietly. “And I don’t want you to suffer because of me.”

he cared for rey. more than he should. he tried not to get attached to people. he tried not to care for many people because attachments were dangerous. they led to the presence of emotions and emotions were a terrifying thing. reaching out a hand, he takes her hand, squeezing it tightly. “but thank you.”

The force gave us this chance and we should use it. ❝ There is a sad smile to follow her words, the ghost of Jacen clinging to almost all they did.

❝ --- But still, I will let you teach me because it may be of use one day. ❝ The day would come when hiding from Jacen was no longer an option. It was a scary thought yet Rey couldn’t help but wonder, letting her thoughts drift away. The island was peaceful. Surely, in a place such as this, peace would be granted at least for a while. ❝ --- What is it like? ❝ Having another voice inside one’s head; the thought was downright scary.

          𝑰𝑵 𝑻𝑼𝑹𝑵, 𝑷𝑶𝑬 𝑰𝑺 𝑳𝑶𝑺𝑻 – not in her eyes, but in the meaning behind them. searching, he finds her stare confusing, slightly concerning even. he wants to understand her, seeking to help, always. it seems to be his responsibility now, after all.  ❝ i don’t mean to pressure you. ❞  soft words fall out, the corners of his lips twitch, nearly a smile. she trusts him, he thinks. it means more than she probably knows. 

❝ MOST PEOPLE START AT THE BEGINNING. ❞  poe suggests in good nature, rather than as matter-of-factly. ignorant as to whether he’s being helpful or a hinderance.  ❝ ––– i, however, like to start with the best or the worst part. ❞

The year that had passed seemed like a lifetime to someone who’d promised herself to never leave. That family, it was going to come back and the resistance was her home now.
