pairing: park sunghoon x fem!reader
synopsis: in which married couple park sunghoon and park y/n are on their way to court to divorce when they suddenly get into a car crash, losing their memories entirely. over time, they start to fall inlove with each other all over again.
genre: angst, exes to lovers + strangers to lovers (ynhoon are soulmates your honor!!) fluff
“You are the most immature person I have ever met!” You shout, “I should’ve never married you in the first place!”
“Finally, something we can both agree on.” Sunghoon seethes, and you just know the taxi driver is uncomfortable by the way he’s awkwardly looking in the car mirror.
The both of you crossed your arms stubbornly, huffing like little children who just threw a tantrum.
The only reason why you and Sunghoon were getting a divorce in the first place was because he was so busy at his office, inheriting the CEO position from his father just months earlier.
You felt lonely, and it really didn’t help that Sunghoon didn’t give you any reassurance because he was too tired.
“Aish, why is this red light taking so long?” Sunghoon angrily mumbles underneath his breath.
“Well maybe it’s your negative energy.”
“Can you be mature once in your life?” Sunghoon snaps back.
The taxi driver, very annoyed with the both of you, continues driving when the light turns green.
Then all of a sudden, a car rams through the intersection, crashing directly into the taxi.
You scream, and Sunghoon instantly puts his arms around your frame, shielding you.
Then, all goes black.
For a second, you could see the day that you and Sunghoon got married.
It was a Sunday, at the beautiful church nearby Sunghoon’s parents house, and you were wearing what Sunghoon called the most beautiful dress he’d ever seen. It was plain white, but long and so beautifully designed that it didn’t need any other colors.
When you arrived at the altar, Sunghoon had bursted into tears. Some of his friends, Jake, who had traveled all the way from Australia to attend, patted the boy on back as comfort.
That day was nonetheless the happiest day of your life. You don’t know if Sunghoon feels the same, and looking back, it feels like such a shame that you’re throwing it all down the drain.
❀﹐
BLEEP. BLEEP.
Your body jolts awake, head practically killing you with the amount of ache it produced as you tried to sit up.
“Patient is up!” The nurse says before walking into your room with a tray. “Good morning, are you feeling okay?”
You raise your hands to touch your head, which was bandaged by some soft tissue material.
“Where am I?” You say, looking around the room. You spot a unknown man groggily getting up, and for a second, you can’t help but notice how handsome he was.
That was besides the point, though.
“You’re in the hospital.” The nurse says, smiling softly. “Do you remember the events leading up to this?”
“I.. I don’t remember anything, actually.”
The nurse still smiles at you reassuringly. “It’s alright lovebug, it seems as though you two have lost your memories.”
“Us two?” You question.
“Yes.” She points to the guy on the other bed right next to you who just looked like he woke up from death. He too looked badly injured like you, having a broken hand and bandage around his head. “Park Sunghoon-ssi was in the same car as you and got injured as well.”
Park Sunghoon. Why did that name sound so familiar?
“Well since you're both awake," she said, relief evident in her voice. "You've been in an accident. Do you remember anything Sunghoon-ssi?”
Sunghoon shook his head slowly. "No... I don't remember anything."
The nurse nodded, sympathy in her eyes. “It's not uncommon for victims to lose their memories after a traumatic accident. Memory loss can be temporary. Just focus on resting for now.”
The nurse leaves the room, leaving you and Sunghoon alone.
“She said we were in the same car together,” you say slowly. “But I really can’t remember what you are to me.”
Sunghoon shrugs. “Me either. All I remember vividly is my parents. You must’ve been an acquaintance of mine, then.”
You nod, stretching your limbs. “You got more injured than me.”
He lets out an airy chuckle, lifting his broken arm which was in a cast into the air. “Yep, broken arm.”
You want to remember so badly what had happened leading up to all of this. What were you doing? Where were you going, and why were you with this Park Sunghoon guy in the first place?
“What did you get for breakfast?”
Sunghoon breaks the silence between the two of you, and you slowly look down at the tray in front of your bed.
“Uh, the nurse got me tiramisu and oatmeal.”
“Tiramisu?” Sunghoon’s mood automatically brightens up. “Can we please switch sweets? I really love tiramisu.”
You laugh at his childlike behavior, but nod anyway. “I’ll bring it to you Sunghoon, wait.”
You don’t know why, but it feels so right saying his name. Sunghoon must’ve felt the same way, because he swore his mouth went dry at you calling out his name.
You carefully make your way out your hospital bed, making sure not to accidentally detach any monitors that were attached to you. Grabbing the tiramisu cup, you make your way over to Sunghoon, who’s already shaking in excitement.
Then you make your way back, opening the lid of your oatmeal bowl.
“I may not know what happened in the accident,” Sunghoon says. “But I know this tiramisu is so fucking good.”
You shake your head, laughing at his words. “Yah Sunghoon, you think we were best friends before all of this?”
“Maybe.” He mutters, the mascarpone cheese of the tiramisu leaving a mark on the side of his lips.
“Well our humor is alike.” You say. “Would explain why we were in the same car together. Maybe we were going out to lunch.”
The rest of the day was spent with Sunghoon and you cracking jokes then and there, the awkwardness of the two of you being strangers quickly faded.
❀﹐
The next day, you were given tiramisu once again while Sunghoon was given cookies.
You descended from your bed, once again, and gave the tiramisu cup to Sunghoon while you grabbed his bag of cookies.
“You know what’s funny?” You say, biting into the warm chocolate chip cookie.
“What?” He says, although it’s muffled from the amount of tiramisu he’s stuffed into his mouth.
“Yah, you gotta stop doing that, it’s gross.”
Sunghoon sticks his tongue out at you, which makes you giggle.
“We’re both Parks, isn’t that funny?”
“Huh,” Sunghoon looks up at the ceiling, thinking for a brief second. “Park Sunghoon and Park Y/N. That is funny.”
Maybe both of your humors are broken because you hit your head too hard during the crash, but even though you were at the hospital, you’re glad you have someone like Sunghoon to keep you company.
“Do you want to watch the stars with me tonight at the balcony?” You ask the boy, who nods softly.
“I’d love to, actually.”
And that’s what the two of you did. By the time it hit 10pm, you two tiptoed out to the balcony, making sure to not let any of the night nurses see you.
“Whoaaa, it’s beautiful.” Sunghoon says, letting his broken arm lean against the railing. “Why didn’t we do this sooner?”
You smile, leaning your head on Sunghoon’s shoulder.
“Sunghoon.” You say, voice barely above a whisper.
“Yeah?”
“I’m not sure what we were before the accident,” you stop for a second. “But I’m glad we knew each other.”
Sunghoon turns his head to look down at your face, his expression morphed into a genuine smile. “I’m glad we knew each other too Y/N.”
That night, you slept the most compared to the other nights at the hospital. In your dreams, you see Sunghoon—only instead of being at the hospital bed right beside you, he’s in the kitchen, wearing a black suit.
“You look nice today.”
“Thank you baby.” Sunghoon leans down to give you a kiss on the lips. “Is that tiramisu?”
You nod, your eyes full of love. “Of course, you’ve been working so hard so I decided to make your favorite.”
He wraps his arms around your waist, letting the two of you swing back and forth slowly. “Thank you my love, I seriously don’t know what I would do without you.”
You woke up in a cold sweat, the dream feeling all too real.
“What’s wrong?” Sunghoon says, and you swore your heart almost leaped out of your chest, not expecting the brunette boy to be awake.
“It’s 2am, why are you even awake?” You say croakily, hands coming to rub your tired eyes.
“Couldn’t sleep.” He shrugs. “Hey, I had a really weird dream just now.”
“Me too.” You say, “you were in it.”
Sunghoon raises an eyebrow, but doesn’t further question it. “You were a lawyer in my dream, you just graduated from Seoul University. We bought a house, and you told me you wanted to continue with your career.”
At least his dream was somewhat normal, you think. I can’t just tell him I dreamt of us being together and being all lovey dovey. He’d be thrown into a coma!
“Ah, mine was similar.”
Nice save Y/N.
Sunghoon suddenly gets up from his bed, deciding to sit at the dining table the nurses had brought out for the two of you yesterday night.
“Come sit with me.”
You slowly creep out of your bed, sitting on the empty seat next to Sunghoon.
Suddenly, you’re hit with a sudden pounding headache.
“You’re the worst, Sunghoon!” You scream on the top of your lungs, “I hate you! I hate you!”
“Stop screaming!” He grabs your arms gently, eyes directly looking into yours. “Y/N-ah, stop it.”
“So I’m Y/N to you now?” Your voice breaks. “No more baby or love? Am I just another person to you Sunghoon?”
“Of course not, why would you say that?” He pinches the bridge of his nose, taking in a deep inhale. “Let’s just talk about this calmly, okay?”
“What’s there to talk about? You are never home, you’re always cooped up in your office! We might as well get a divorce!”
Sunghoon’s hold on your shoulder makes you snap out of your daze.
“Hey, you okay?” He says concernedly, “you were breathing heavily.”
“What?” You gasp. “Yeah—yeah, I’m okay. I just think I had a flashback.”
“Really? What was it?”
You don’t want to tell Sunghoon that it was the two of you fighting. Why did you even mention divorcing in the flashback? Were you and Sunghoon something more than just friends?
“Just the crash.” You say. You want to tell him the truth, you really do, but you’re not sure if these were hallucinations from how hard your head was hit during the trauma or if they were actual flashbacks.
“Well, I’m here.” Sunghoon whispers reassuringly. “I’ll always be here. We survived a car crash together anyway, we’re kinda bonded to each other.”
You laugh, smacking him on his shoulder softly. “You’re insane.”
“Maybe.”
❀﹐
“Do you remember what your passion was before all of this?” Sunghoon asks, peeling his orange with his injured hand.
“I haven’t really thought about it,” you say, “l think I really would’ve liked becoming a mother. I love kids, the thought of them makes me happy.”
“I think you would be a great mother.” Sunghoon says quietly. “Even though we don’t know each other much, I can tell you’re loving.”
You look down at your lap, trying to suppress the bright smile forming at the corner of your lips.
“Thanks Hoonie.”
“Hoonie?”
Your eyes widened. “I’m sorry! Did I make you uncomfortable? I should’ve not—”
“It’s okay Y/N,” he chuckles. “It’s fine. I like it.”
You can’t help but laugh along with him. “Okay.”
The next few days go by quickly, with you and Sunghoon already warming up to each other.
You were both comfortable enough to speak your thoughts freely around one another, no matter how silly or ridiculous some of them seemed.
When the nurses brought you two breakfast, Sunghoon almost dropped his fork in shock.
“They gave me tiramisu.” He says, eyes glistening with joy. “They finally gave me tiramisu.”
“I don’t know why you’re so excited.” You snicker jokingly. “You’ve been eating my tiramisu this entire week.”
He turns around to look at your tray, which had a bag of snickerdoodle cookies on it.
With shaking limbs, he makes his way over, handing the tiramisu cup to you and swapping it with your cookies.
“I thought you hated snickerdoodle cookies, Hoon?” You ask, eyebrows furrowed.
“I do.” He admits. “But you’ve given me your tiramisu all week, I wanted you to have mine this time.”
Your heart swells at that, and you point your spoon at him accusingly.
“Yah, is this because you want my chocolate pudding at dinner?” You joke.
“Pffft, what? Nooo.” He quickly defends himself. “But if you’re willing to share—”
“Shut up Park Sunghoon!”
“Yes ma’am!”
❀﹐
You don’t know why, but you’re starting to feel giddy whenever you talk with Sunghoon.
Your palms does this thing where it sweats profusely, and your tongue feels like dried sandpaper.
There’s no way you like Park Sunghoon, right? You’ve barely known the guy for two weeks, so why was the heart racing at the thought of him?
“I’ve convinced the nurses to get us two bottles of coca cola,” Sunghoon says, practically jumping up and down as he entered the room.
“Really? Out of all the drinks you could’ve persuaded them to get us, you got us coke.”
“Don’t diss Coca Cola like that!” Sunghoon says, crossing his arms.
Just like Sunghoon had said, the nurse approaches the two of you an hour later, 2 bottles of coca cola in her hands. She hands one to Sunghoon, then to you.
"Enjoy." She says, smile reaching her eyes.
Sunghoon's eyes light up when he opens the bottle and takes a sip. "Ah, for some reason, this feels so nostalgic."
A little memory pops up in his head, one of him playing at the park with his mom and younger sister.
"Sunghoon-oppa! Mom says she brought us coca cola!" The young girl, Yeji, says. "C'mon! Come with me!"
The young Park Sunghoon lets his younger sister take his hand, running towards their mom who was on the other side of the park.
"What's wrong Sunghoon-ssi?" You ask, noticing how his thick eyebrows were furrowed and his grip on the bottle had tightened.
"Huh?"
"You zoned out for a bit."
He chuckles nervously, glancing around the room. "Sorry, I think I just had a flashback." He says. "Park Yeji."
"Who?"
"My younger sister." He explains. "I could see her clearly. I wonder where she is right now."
You too wondered where your family was. Maybe they were too busy to come visit you. You could briefly remember having a younger brother. Jungwon. Yang Jungwon.
"Cheers." He says, mood changing quickly. His canines shined brightly as he smiled, making him look all too gorgeous in your eyes. "To the car crash, for bringing me and Park Y/N together."
You giggle, raising your bottle in the air. "Cheers to the car crash, for bonding me with this weird guy named Sunghoon."
"Yah!"
❀﹐
"Is it weird?"
"Hm?"
It's 11pm, and you and Sunghoon face each other as you're both laying on opposite ends of the room.
"That we've known each other for only a few weeks and I already feel like I've known you for an entire lifetime?"
You smile at his words, shaking your head. "No, I feel the same way Hoonie."
"Would it be stupid to say out loud how much I want to kiss you right now?"
Your mouth almost drops at his boldness, but you quickly shake your head.
Sunghoon takes your silence as approval, sitting up to come over to your side.
He brushes the hair away from your face, leaning in to close the gap between your lips.
When the both of you pull away, you automatically lean in again, the feel of his lips on yours felt so right.
"I love you Sunghoon." You say as you cup his cheeks. "I don't want to fight anymore."
"I know," he whispers. "I love you. Cause even though we were both going down, we were going down together."
"I hate you." You say, a smile playing on your face. "I hate you for being the only person who I can't stay mad at."
"And I love you," he says. "For being there for me, always."
"Sunghoon."
"Hm?"
"I love you."
He smiles down at you, uninjured hand coming to hold yours. "I love you too."
❀﹐
"What?" You say flabbergasted.
The next morning was the date of both yours and Sunghoon's discharge, and both your families decided to come visit.
"You two were married." Your father explains, a bewildered expression on his face. "How could you not know? Was the Park Y/N not obvious?"
"I thought that was just my last name!" You say, defending yourself.
"Your last name is Yang, noona." Your little brother speaks up. It was Jungwon, the same boy you kept seeing in your flashbacks, only this time, his face looks more clear and matured. "It was before you married Sunghoon-hyung."
"You're telling me we got married and divorced?" Sunghoon says, stuttering over his own words.
"Yes son," Sunghoon's mother explains. "Well, not quite exactly. We don't know why you guys wanted to divorce, you kind of shut yourselves out when you were arguing. You didn't officially divorce yet, you got into an accident on the way to court."
That made so much sense now. The flashbacks of arguments between you and Sunghoon, the makeups after the arguments, the cute moments, everything. It started to all click in your head.
"You still share houses and everything, the lawyers had to put your case on hold because you were both hospitalized." Jungwon says. "We were here to pick you up separately, in case you weren't comfortable staying with each other."
"It's fine." You and Sunghoon both say at the same time.
"Are you sure honey?" Sunghoon's mom asks concernedly.
"Yes mom, I'm sure."
The drive home was awkward, you both drove in different cars but to the home you had bought before the accident happened.
"Noona," Jungwon calls out to you. Your parents are still in the car, looking at the scene in front of them.
"Yes Jungwon?"
"Listen, I may not know a lot about love," he says, "but I know what you and Sunghoon-hyung have is real. I could still see somewhere in his eyes that he remembers parts of you and he still loves you whether or not his memories came back or not. I could tell you love him too. I don't know why the two of you decided to divorce but I know you called me crying hysterically because of it. I just think you two needed to talk it out, without the lawyers, without the paperwork. You two are the two most stubborn people I know, but also the two most loving people I know, you wouldn't just leave each other like that."
You want to cry at your younger brother's words, tears already leaking from your eyes. "Thank you Won."
You reach your arms out to hug him, a hug that he instantly melts into. "I love you noona."
"I love you too."
❀﹐
"This isn't what we expected, huh?" Sunghoon says, leaning his head on the marble island in the middle of your kitchen. "This whole time I thought you were my best friend, turns out you were my soon to be ex-wife."
You laugh quietly at the irony of the whole situation. "Whatever we were in the past is in the past Hoon."
He nods. "I can't believe we were going to divorce."
"I can't believe it either."
"You know what my mom told me in the car?" Sunghoon sits up straight to look at you. "The reason I have a broken arm and you don't was because during the crash, I put my arms around yours to protect you. Isn't that funny? Even though we hated each other at that moment, my first instinct was to protect you."
You stay still at that, his words sinking into your brain.
"It's like the universe wanted us to be together." You say quietly.
"Hey Y/N?"
You turn around to face Sunghoon. "Yeah?"
"I'm glad I married you."
Even though you and Sunghoon aren't sure where you stand in terms of relationship, all you know is that you love him, and that is enough for the both of you.

rainy days
spending time with your best friend at a beach house, what could possibly go wrong? and what might go right?
contains: friends to lovers, sappy joshua, fluff, confession, joshua x gn!reader
a/n: first fic in a month and a half! thanks for staying with me through my writers block, hope you guys like this one <3
now that summer was in full swing, you and your best friend decided to stay at a beach house for a week. you both loved the ocean and had been trying to plan this trip for months. while it was originally supposed to be a whole friend group trip, you and joshua were the only two that were able to agree on a date and decided to go as a pair, leaving a group trip for another time.
the idea was to spend all day everyday at the beach, soak up all the sun you could get, and spend hours basking in the ocean water. what else would you do at the beach?
the entire drive to the house you had been talking joshua’s ear off about how excited you were and all the fun things you could do on the beach. all he did was smile and agree with you, knowing how excited you were for this trip.
the second you got to the beach house you ran up to your room to put your bags away and get to the water as quickly as possible.
you came bounding down the stairs with a smile on your face. your best friend, however, stood by the patio door that led to the beach, looking outside with a frown.
the big smile on your face was wiped off when you came up next to him and looked outside, seeing that it was pouring rain outside. you had heard the steady fall of rain on the roof of the house but you didn’t put two and two together, not wanting to believe that it would be storming when it was so nice out earlier. there goes your idea of spending the whole day on the beach in the sun.
“the universe officially hates me, huh?” you asked joshua, leaning your head against him in defeat.
he patted your head, ruffling your hair lightly in response, “it’s just a little rain, we can still go out,” he said softly, not wanting to ruin your hopes of a beach day- even if it was raining cats and dogs without a single ray of sunshine in the sky.
you looked up at him with a deadpan expression, “its pouring outside, not just raining, shua, it’s pouring,” you emphasized, throwing your hands up and pushing his hand away from you to flop onto the couch in disappointment.
your reaction may have seemed childish to some but joshua understood. both of your jobs worked you to the bone and this was supposed to be your week of relaxation in the sun. you didn’t just book a house near the beach you booked a beach house, the sole purpose being for the beach!
“how about we go sit on the patio?” joshua suggested, tugging on your hand, still standing while you were sprawled on the couch. he figured that at least you two could get some fresh air instead of being cooped up in the house all day.
“if you want to…” you replied to his suggestion, you thought that sitting out there and watching the rain would be rubbing salt into the wound, but you would follow joshua anywhere.
he smiled at your response, knowing that you were just coming out to make him happy, but he would take it.
“good,” he nodded, hand still in yours as he helped pull you off the couch and lead you to the covered patio, “if you look on the bright side… now you get to spend more quality time with me,” he joked, knowing that you’d much rather be snorkeling with the fish and letting a tan set in.
he sat down on the loveseat on the patio, giving the spot next to him a pat to signal you to sit down next to him. you obliged and rested your head on his shoulder, curling your legs up and resting a throw blanket over them.
“can’t wait, sounds so fun,” you said sarcastically, though you both knew you loved quality time with joshua.
he shrugged the shoulder that you were resting on, making your head jostle a bit, “you know you love me,” he said with a scoff, though there was a smile on his face.
despite the vacation not going how you intended you felt at peace. with your head on joshua’s shoulder and some light banter in the air it felt strangely domestic. neither of you were looking at the other, instead watching the waves crash against the shore as the downpour continued.
“i do,” you said quietly, not even trying to keep up your annoyed facade.
neither of you ever said anything but it always felt like your relationship was more than just a friendship. yes, you were ‘just friends’ on paper but there was something more.
over the years you couldn’t help but start to like joshua as more than just a friend. but you pushed it back in order to save your friendship, not knowing that joshua felt the same way.
what you also didn’t know was that joshua had planned to tell you his feelings on this vacation. and although this isn’t the situation he planned he felt like everything felt right. like this was the moment that he had to say something.
“c’mon,” he said, gently getting off the couch and holding a hand out to you, not telling you where you were going.
you raised an eyebrow at him but still placed your hand in his, getting off the couch and standing up, “where are we going?” you asked, you had only been on the patio for a short time.
“the beach,” he replied simply, leading you to the end of the covered patio and attempting to make you follow him to the beach.
you tugged on his hand at his words and shook your head, “are you crazy? it’s still pouring! what if we get struck by lightning?” you exclaimed, staying firmly planted under the overhang to stay dry.
joshua rolled his eyes at your words and tugged at your hand in return, “you came here for the beach, right?” he asked, to which you nodded slowly, “and you trust me, right?” he asked again, you begrudgingly nodded to that question, “then come out here with me,” he said in a sing song voice, swinging your intertwined hands.
“you’re crazy,” you mumbled, but followed him into the torrential downpour, the rain immediately soaking your hair and clothes the second you stepped out.
joshua broke into a run, his hand still in yours to drag you along with him. at first you had a scowl on your face but it quickly turned into a smile, you felt like you were kids again, playing in the rain without a care in the world.
he stopped in the middle of the beach and turned around to look at you, a bright smile on his face that mirrored your own. you were laughing in the way that gave joshua butterflies, he took this moment to study your face, in awe that the person he loved could be so beautiful.
when you noticed joshua’s staring you gave him a funny look, “what?” you asked, poking his side like you always did when you wanted to break him out of his staring.
he blinked at you and his smile became even wider, “i love you,” he said simply, not knowing how else to put his feelings into words. though, this was something you two said often, of course you love your best friend.
“i love you too, shua,” you replied, a little taken aback by his sudden words, “what’s with the sudden declaration of love,” you joked with a laugh.
he shook his head, “no, i’m in love with you,” he clarified, “i love your smile, and your laugh, i love how you’re always by my side, and how you’ll follow me anywhere,” he listed, “i think you’re perfect and beautiful and i think you’re the only person for me,” he concluded, his voice trailing into a whisper at the end. his cheeks began heating up after he realized he spilled his feelings for you without a second thought.
you opened and closed your mouth a few times, not knowing what to say at his sudden confession. this entire moment felt like it was out of a movie. a romantic confession in the pouring rain. hearing joshua say those words made your heart pound, he was saying all the right things, the things you had been waiting for him to say.
your lack of response made joshua nervous, thinking that he had read the situation wrong and you truly thought of him as just a friend. he was about to recant his words and tell you to forget about it when you finally broke into a smile again.
“you big sap,” you teased, pushing his shoulder without any force, “you know i’m in love with you too,” you said quietly, not quite knowing how to deal with such upfront emotions.
joshua looked at you expectantly, waiting for you to recant and say that you’re just kidding and make it all one big joke. but when you looked up at him with the same expression he just grinned, knowing that you were telling the truth as well.
“can i kiss you?” he finally asked, feeling like it was the only logical next step to your conversation. he slowly brought a hand up to your face and cradled your cheek, waiting for your go ahead.
“yeah,” you said simply, not trusting yourself to say anything more than that. all the while you didn’t break eye contact with him, everything felt so right.
you never believed when people said they felt a ‘spark’ with someone but being with joshua felt like even more than that. the second your lips touched fireworks were exploding, butterflies were invading your stomach, and you could’ve sworn the sun was shining on you despite the heavy rain.
the rain was soaking you from head to toe but all you could feel was the warmth from his hands and his smile against your lips.
it was as if everything in your relationship with him had been leading up to this very moment. your lips fit like two puzzle pieces and all the worries in the world got washed away by his touch.
when you finally pulled apart you could’t hide the dopey grin on your face no matter how hard you tried, “did you drag me into the rain just so you could kiss me?” you asked with a little laugh, seeing as you could’ve easily done this all inside the comfort (and dryness) of the house.
joshua scoffed and pulled you closer to him, wrapping an arm around you, “maybe… but this felt more cinematic than doing it inside, didn’t it?” he justified, knowing that he got you there. a first kiss and confession in the pouring rain? straight out of a movie.
“it did… but now i’m freezing,” you decided to mention, the cold of the rain finally settling in as you came down from the high you were feeling from all your emotions.
joshua noticed how your teeth were slightly chattering and shivers wracked down your body occasionally, “shit, sorry, let’s get you inside, baby,” he said, quickly steering you back to the house so you could take a warm shower and dry off.
you followed his lead but raised an eyebrow at the term of affection, “baby? already?” you joked with a laugh, though you secretly loved how easily it came for him.
he gave you the same look and rolled his eyes jokingly, “yes, c’mon i have to make up for lost time, keep up the pace!” he teased, throwing a towel over your shoulders and helping you dry off, not paying any mind to himself. he always needed to make sure you were taken care of first.
so there you were; two idiots in love, drenched from the rain, spending the rest of your vacation making up for lost time.

caturday movie night
tldr: can you cat sense chan's fear? (early relationship!chan) a/n: i love him so bad, ur honor.
chan liked your cat. he thought the cat was cute and he seemed quite sweet when you interacted with him. that isn’t the problem. your cat just didn’t like chan. he has tried over and over to get the cat to open up to him. he’s asked his friends with cats what to do, read articles online about how to introduce himself to the cat, and even watched youtube videos, practicing his ‘friendly crouch’ in his bedroom mirror. all his efforts seemed fruitless. every time he came over to your apartment, your cat ran and hid from him. the small animal cowered behind you in his presence. ducking behind your legs and not allowing chan to lay a single finger on him. maybe he could sense that chan always liked dogs better.
it never bothered you that your cat hated chan, his words, not yours. in fact, you insisted that he did not hate chan, he just needed more time to warm up to the new man in your life. after all, your cat had been the only guy in your life up until eight months ago when you moved into your current apartment. that's how you and chan met. you were moving into chan’s building and he offered to help you move some boxes. you and chan had been official for the last six months and your cat still cannot stand the sight of him.
your cat is all he can think about as he walks down the hallway of your shared building, headed for another movie night at your place. despite the uncomfortable cat situation, it was easier to spend time at your place, seeing as you had no roommates and chan had two. and as much as he loved vernon and seungkwan, a romantic movie night was better without them.
he stands in front of your door and knocks. he’s sure at this point he could probably just let himself in, especially since you shared the code to your door with him a few weeks ago, but it feels impolite so he patiently waits for you to open the door. as he waits he thinks again of your cat. what exactly was it that the poor animal hated so much about chan? did he do something? was it a vibe? or maybe it was–
the door swung open and your head appeared in the gap, “hi!” you pulled the door open wider, inviting chan into your space, “come in. I’m almost done preparing the snacks.” you greeted chan with a chaste kiss, then turned and walked deeper into the apartment, chan followed behind you, listening for the tell-tale sounds of a bell on a collar and tiny nails striking the hardwood.
when you finally reach your kitchen, chan saw the cat. he was asleep in his bed, curled up, looking relaxed. this was all bound to end as soon as he woke up and saw chan. then he’d go running in the opposite direction from wherever chan was.
“channie?” your soft voice interrupted his thoughts. he turned to you, “can you help me carry these snacks to the living room? we can put them on the coffee table.”
“of course, pretty.” he loved the way you blushed at his nickname for you. he’d been calling you ‘pretty’ for a few months now and every time he did, your face flushed. it thrilled him to no end.
quietly, so as to not disturb your sleeping cat, he crossed the kitchen and grabbed the bowl of popcorn, following you to your cozy living room. the next movie in your studio ghibli marathon already pulled up.
things went smoothly for the first half of the movie. you and chan had snuggled up on the couch, your head resting on his shoulder, his arm around your waist, holding you close. you were enjoying watching kiki’s adventures in koriko when chan heard it: the small footfalls of your cat. he tensed briefly, knowing this would be unfortunate for the animal whose living room this technically was.
the small cat wandered into the living room sleepily. you reached for the remote, pressing pause, “come here, little boy. come sit with us, get to know channie. he’s convinced you hate him.” this last part was said teasingly, your eyes turned to chan, glimmering with mirth.
to everyone’s surprise, the lethargic cat ambled into the room, pausing briefly in front of you before making eye contact with chan.
chan held his breath, he was sure the cat was going to turn around and run out of the room, scared by something in chan’s eyes. your cat squatted and jumped right into chan’s lap. he turned around once, twice, thrice, and then settled into chan’s lap. closing his eyes and beginning to purr.
you smiled wide, “i told you he liked you, channie. he just needed time to see how great you are.” your head tipped back onto his shoulder, settling back in to finish the movie.
chan reached an experimental hand down to pet the cat’s head. he took the increased purring as a good sign. “i think you’re great too, pretty.” chan could get used to this. dogs are overrated anyway.

── OLYMPICS MASTERLIST
[🛹] DISCIPLINE: SKATEBOARDING
GENRE: fluff, strangers to lovers(ish), introverted reader, vernon being the greenest flag of them all PAIRING: skateboarder!vernon x athlete!fem reader WARNINGS: explicit language and a couple of sexist comments WORD COUNT: 3.1 k
“not the anti-sex beds again,” katie groaned, like it was the end of the world.
rolling your eyes, you threw your duffle bags on the bed next to the window. though, as dramatic as she could get sometimes, and as much as you couldn’t wait for the games to begin - you were not looking towards sleeping on the cardboard monstrosities. the amount of massages you had to get four years ago because of them was not something you’d like to go through again.
“it’s not like you’re going to have sex anyway,” sam nudged katie with her shoulder and threw her own stuff on the bed next to yours.
“i’m not talking about myself, stupid,” katie said. “our friend over here,” she put her arms around you and squeezed your shoulders, “needs to get laid. she almost managed to bang that rugby dude the last time, and i can feel it in my bones,” she took a deep breath, ”she’s going to succeed this year.”
you tried shoving her away, as sam erupted in a loud laugh.
“hah hah, very funny,” you mumbled, and flicked katie’s forehead. “i’m here to win medals, not to find a hookup.”
“mhm, sure,” sam said. “we’ll see about that.”
the next morning you stood up with the first rays of sunshine, a lot earlier than most people in the village, with a plan to make the most of your only day off before the eliminations. it’d get crowded quickly, so you figured it’d be nice to soak in the surroundings without hundreds of people bumping into each other. you didn’t bother to wake the girls up - you were eternally grateful you could share this amazing adventure with them, but you needed some time alone.
besides, there was a 99% probability that sam would skin you alive if you tried cutting her beauty sleep short.
before leaving the building, you managed, to your delight, to find the gym and the swimming pool, which surely would become really handy in a couple of days. then, you found a small farmacy a couple of blocks away, and a post office where you took a couple of pictures in a photobooth and wrote short letters to your friends at home, before throwing them into the mailbox.
though the streets were starting to get busier and busier, because well - the athletes, their trainers, the volunteers, staff - everyone wanted to see what this year’s host had to offer, it was still pleasantly peaceful, and you could enjoy your time alone to the fullest. and apart from the cardboard beds, the village was so nice. the purple colours especially.
just as you turned around the corner of south korea’s apartment complex, you felt and heard your tummy rumble, and thatwas your cue to find the dining hall. fortunately, it didn’t take you long. apart from the big ass signs with “dining hall”written all over them, most people that you passed were walking in one direction, which could only mean one thing.
after a short while, you entered the big room, all purple and pretty, already filled with hundreds of athletes and staff.
scanning around the huge hall, you tried looking for someone, anyone you knew, but to no avail. most of the tables were already taken, but somehow, to your misfortune, none of them were taken by anyone from your country. you sighed and twisted the pendant hanging around your neck, trying to distract yourself from the fact that you’d be forced to sit at a table with people you did not know.
there went your peaceful morning.
without wasting more time, and before you’d completely spiral over the lack of familiar faces, you picked up a plate and cutlery and made your way to the queue for food, standing behind two chinese athletes.
the line moved slowly, but you didn’t mind. as much as you weren’t particularly overjoyed with the loud noise and chaos, it was nice to do some people-watching. the different races, heights and widths, cultures, languages - all within one building - that had to be one of your favourite things about olympics.
“isn’t that the chick kyle fucked last time?” suddenly a male voice pulled you out of your thoughts, as if your brain knew that the comment was direct to you. drowning out the noise around you, you tried your best to focus on the people behind you.
“he didn’t fuck her, she ran away the second he touched her tits,” another guy said. “fucking prude,” he snickered.
you felt your cheeks heat up - in embarrassment because you were right there, and they knew you could hear them, but also in anger because what they were saying was just not true.
“i told him to go for the track runner, she had a better ass anyways,” the first guy said, as the other laughed.
comments like these were nothing new. men like these were nothing new, but it didn’t make the ache in your chest any less painful. worst part was that you’d let them, you wouldn’t stop them - you couldn’t. anytime you tried standing up for yourself you felt at loss for words, your throat closed up, and your mind went blank.
“excuse me, guys,” a new voice joined in. “the last time i checked this was the olympics, not who has a better ass competition.”
you didn’t have the nerve to turn around to see who that new voice belonged to. you just clenched and unclenched your fists, trying to control your breathing.
“also if i may suggest one thing-,”
“you may not-,”
“you may want to check out your own ass… or the lack of it,” you could hear the smile in his voice.
the two guys grumbled something and left the line, but not before one of them bumped into you with too much force for it to be just an accident. muttering a curse under your breath, you massaged your slightly sore arm and prayed to whatever force for the two fuckers not to pass their eliminations.
“are you okay?” you could feel the guy's breath on your neck.
fuck, now you had no other choice but to acknowledge what had just happened. if it was up to you, you’d happily skip breakfast and run back to your room. who would’ve thought that the cardboard bed would be the equivalent of a safe haven.
“uh,” you took a shaky inhale, “i’m okay.”
“just turn around, smile politely, thank for the help, and move on,” you thought. but as you did that, your eyes went wide, and your breath hitched in your throat.
you found a set of hazel brown eyes looking at you with curiosity and a tad of softness as if asking a silent question if you were really okay, a kind smile that managed to calm your pounding heart on its own, and cheeks dusted in a light shade of pink as if he had just finished his morning run. the guy couldn’t be much older than you and was the perfect height. you didn’t have to tilt your head in an uncomfortable way to look him in the eye, and he didn’t have to look down at you as if you were a dwarf.
his dark brown hair was hidden under a beanie, and despite the oversized shirt and shorts, you could make out his lean build, which made him stand out from the other bulky men around. you quickly figured he was part of the us team by his outfit, but you couldn’t rack your brains around what type of sport he could be doing.
he looked so… laid back compared to everyone around.
“are you sure?” he asked, his gaze still attentive to you and you only.
you nodded your head. “sorry you had to listen to that,” you said.
“i’m sorry you had to listen to that,” the guy muttered. “you know those dudes are total douchebags, right?” annoyance flashed across his face for a second, “people like them shouldn’t even be here and-,”
“it’s okay, really,” you said with a stern voice, cutting him short. grateful - that’s what you were - and it was really nice of him to stand up for you, but you couldn’t shake off the feeling that he saw you as nothing more than a weakling that couldn’t even stand up for herself. and that had to be more embarrassing than the comments.
he must’ve noticed your sour expression, because he quickly said, “i didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.”
“you didn’t, i… i’m sorry for snapping at you,” god, you really messed this up. this gorgeous boy just saved your ass from getting harassed, and you were acting like an ungrateful bitch. “i’m just not the best at dealing with… whatever that was,” you cleared your throat. “but thank you, it was really kind of you, and you didn’t really have to say anything, but-,”
“but i would’ve been the biggest asshole if i hadn’t said anything,” he chuckled, amusement sparkling in his eyes. “i couldn’t just let those two fuckers say those things about you. about anyone for that matter. what kind of person would that make me?”
you nodded, though if you had to be real - you were too distracted by his eyes to focus on what he was saying.
“okay, that sounded so pretentious,” he said, frowning, as if cringing at his own words. you couldn’t help but giggle at his expression. he looked really adorable despite his disgusted look.
and that didn’t mean anything good. you knew yourself, and you knew how easily it was for you to fall for a person that showed you an ounce of kindness, even if they did it just because they were a good person. and that was probably what was happening now - he saw you getting harassed, he stepped in, said a couple of words, and that would be it.
but you. you’d think about this for the rest of the olympics. about his teasing voice, the slightly curly hair coming out of his beanie, the fact that you’d never know what kind of athlete he was. the freaking hazel eyes.
“i’m vernon, by the way,” he, or vernon, extended his hand.
you cringed at the thought of your sweaty palms, still closed in fists. and it wasn’t like you could wipe them right in front of him. now that would just send you straight into a coma. but you took it anyway, it couldn’t get worse than the comments about your flat ass, you figured. and if he noticed he didn’t say anything, just smiled and nodded when you told him your name.
“so, do you have any plans for today?” he asked, letting go of your hand way too soon for your liking.
“i was planning on eating breakfast, but…,” you shrugged.
“well, i might have an idea then,” he said, a proud smile on his face. “have you ever tried skateboarding?”
…
you did not think this through.
trying to skate on a wooden board with four wheels sounded kind of appealing at the moment, but now - now that you were about to actually stand on it? huh yeah, you’d rather stick to keeping your own two feet on the ground.
“it’s not going to kill you, you know?” vernon laughed, as you looked at the board in front of you with pure horror. there was no way anyone could survive skating on that thing, let alone doing tricks and flips or whatever they did with that torture device.
“just,” he pulled the board closer to you with his foot, “lean your weight on me first and i’m going to hold you, just so you can get comfortable standing on it,” he said, as if it was the easiest thing in the world.
would he think you were a complete loser if you ran away? maybe you could blame it on a sudden stomach bug or something.
“mhm, yeah,” you breathed, grabbing his extended hand. “easy peasy.”
luckly for you, the skatepark was still relatively empty since most of the village was trying to fight others in the queue for food, so the chance of you skating into someone by accident was almost non existent. but that did not change the fact that you were on the verge of a panic attack. why did you say yes to this? why did you step out of your comfort zone so easily? comfort zone was good - you loved your comfort zone. that was what kept you safe from agreeing to skateboarding on a whim.
but it was so easy to say yes when vernon looked at you with so much kindness. you just weren’t able to decline - there was something about him that put you at ease, whether it was his voice or mannerisms - he oozed with so much calmness that even your erratic heart was screaming “say yes!”
“put your right foot in front of the left one,” he said, still grasping your hand tightly. “and keep your knees bent, it’ll help with keeping your balance.”
you watched him as he showed you how you were supposed to stand correctly, and tried to mirror his stance the best you could.
“that’s perfect,” vernon said with a bright smile, as if you just won the gold medal for not falling off the board on the first occasion. “told you you’d do a great job.”
“this is ridiculous,” you muttered, as your legs wobbled. “i’m looking worse than a baby trying to walk.”
he rolled his eyes and sighed dramatically, making you giggle. “i love your form of self motivation. now,” still holding onto you, vernon walked around the board, “uh, is it okay if i put my hand on your waist?” he asked, and your heart skipped a beat.
usually, you’d immediately say no, but… there was nothing usual about vernon as it turned out. if this was your day of breaking your walls then so be it. you nodded in agreement. “try to put your left foot on the ground and push yourself forward,” he said.
your thin t-shirt did nothing to conceal the warmth coming from vernon’s hand, but somehow, instead of making you more nervous, it only calmed your wobbling feet and shaking hands, grounding you on the board, making it less scary by the second. you’d never met anyone before who had been so gentle with you, so patient and understanding so quickly.
“like this?” you took your left foot off the skateboard, but before it could reach the ground you wobbled backwards. “vernon!” you shrieked, ready to fall ass first on the asphalt, but that never happened. your back met his solid chest before you could move more than an inch.
“‘s okay,” he said, gripping your waist tighter. “i’m right here.”
you breathed a sigh of relief. “i don’t think this is a good idea,” you looked over your shoulder at him. “what if i break your board?”
“i have ten others,” he stated as a matter of fact, not bothered at all even if you actually broke his board. “try again, i’ve got you.”
the next try went a little bit better, at least you managed to put your foot down without bumping into him again.
“okay, now push yourself forward.”
“just… don’t let go, okay?”
“i won’t,” vernon said. you could feel him so close to you, his breath creeping down your neck. “i won’t.”
you never thought you’d feel so accomplished by such a simple thing, you were a gold winning athlete for god’s sake, but when you finally moved, when the board skated forward and you were still standing on it - you felt a flicker of pride settle in your chest.
“that’s it,” vernon said, giving your hand a squeeze. “you’re doing great. try doing that again.”
and so you did just that. you pushed yourself forward, again and again, until your feet weren’t wobbling at all, and your moves were getting more confident.
“i’m doing it, i’m…,” you laughed, “vernon, i’m skateboarding,” you said, pushing once more.
“yes, you are!”
wait. why was his voice so distant?
that’s when you realised you couldn’t feel his hand on your waist anymore, nor were your fingers intertwined with his.
“vernon?” you asked, alarmed.
“just don’t turn around-,”
but it was too late. you took a look behind you to see vernon standing a couple of metres behind you, and that was enough to lose all of the balance, all of the control.
“shit,” you heard him scream, right before you closed your eyes shut, readying yourself for the impact.
the board flew forward as you slipped backwards, your hands flying to your slides trying to hold onto something. but there was nothing, just air.
but then - the strong grip, the warm embrace, the hands that you trusted so much - you could feel him all around you. no pain, no broken bones - just vernon.
“shit, i’m so sorry,” he said, still holding onto you. “i shouldn’t have let you go.”
gently, he helped you sit on the ground, his eyes scanning all over your body, looking for any injuries.
“it’s fine, i just panicked,” you said, and put your hand on his shoulder, pulling his gaze back to your eyes. “seriously, it was actually quite fun.”
at that, vernon’s expression softened a bit, and after a second he even flashed you a smile.
“that’s good, that’s…,” he exhaled. “that’s a lot for one morning i think.”
you laughed, and shook your head. “yeah, i think you’re right. but you know,” you looked over at the board that was still rolling on its own. “i think i’ll stick to watching you skate. i don’t think i’m built for this.”
his body shook with a silent giggle. “i’m still proud of you.”
“thank you,” you said quietly. and you truly meant it - not only for catching you, or trying to teach you how to skate - but for standing up for you when he could just ignore it and move on with his day, for pulling you out of your little safe bubble. that thank you meant a lot of things and you hoped that vernon knew that.
“were you serious, though?”
you frowned, not really sure what he ment.
“that you want to watch me skate?”.
any other day you’d say no, but…
“yes. i’d really love to.”
a beautiful smile bloomed on vernon’s face, and you knew right there and then that the feeling of gratitude was forming into something more than just that.
“my eliminations are in two days, uh and maybe, only if you want, you could come?”
you nodded eagerly. at this point you weren’t sure you were able to tell this man no at all.
and you couldn’t wait to see where that would get you.

seventeen members as love tropes: choi hansol
forced proximity
'coincidence? baby, they don't exist'
'so, what's your name?'
you blink, turning around to face the guy with who you got stuck in the elevator. he is now comfortably sitting on the floor with his knees tucked closer to his chest, leaning on the wall. the look on his face has zero traces of nerves or anxiety, he's opening bag of chips with a small smile on his face, looking at you like what is happening right now is absolutely normal. is this how an average day goes for him?
'you think this button is broken?' you ask instead, turning back. you push at 'call' button again but no sound comes out. 'we can't actually be stuck here with no connection to the outside world, right?'
'it happens quite often.' my god, so you were right, this is an average day for him. 'but no, this button works, we just need to wait a little. maybe these guys are out somewhere.'
'out where?' you ask, turning back to him. smell of chips starts filling up the cabin and you try to concentrate on it instead of thinking about being stuck here forever. 'should i just keep on pressing that button?'
your voice gets caught in your throat because the guy looks at you with... you don't know what. his gaze is piercing and it's like he's looking right at you, within you, in your soul. it's unsettling, especially when it comes from someone that handsome. in all three months since you moved into this apartment complex, you only met several families and few kids here and there, but never this guy. your brain unnecessarily reminds you that right now you're standing in front of a really handsome guy in old washed out t-shirt and pj pants, while he's at least dressed in jeans and sweatshirt.
'i'm hansol,' he says suddenly, breaking your thinking spiral. 'your neighbor from the forth floor.' he then pats a space next to him: 'come sit? i think it's more comfortable than standing.' you open your mouth to argue when he adds: 'i'll be the one pressing that button, no worries. just come sit down, yeah? you can meditate that way better, no?'
your nose scrunches in confusion. 'meditate?'
it's time for hansol to look sheepish. 'isn't this what people do when they start panicking? i mean- i am not implying that you are panicking right now, but you look pretty worried and i thought- shit, you are not panicking, right? there really is no need to, i promise we will be out of here in no time. i thought if you can sit and mediate then you can-' he shuts up, noticing his rambling and how your eyes grow only bigger with each word he says. after a second of hesitation, he stands up, grabs his chips and comes over to you, shoving them in your direction. 'here. chips.'
there are a lot of things that you can say or do, but your mind chooses to grab offered snack and silently move to where he was sitting. hansol seems to approve, as he smiles a little and leans with his back on the opposite wall so he can still look at you, while insistently pressing the 'call' button. 'so.'
'yes?' you raise your head, slowly munching on the chip. it's salty taste helps you stay here in the moment instead of disappearing in the anxiety.
'i feel like it's my fate, you know? to get stuck in the elevators. like god is trying to tell me something through it, you know? like i don't get stuck just because, i get stuck for something. and then i think-'
it takes you five seconds to realize that hansol is doing this on purpose. he is distracting you so you won't panick and this gesture is incredibly sweet for a random stranger. you're not sure how much time passes, because hansol's storytelling is fascinating (and a bit weird, but in a more 'not ordinary' way than bad). you don't notice how your spine is not rigid anymore, but hansol does. he notices how you slowly relax, hold his gaze more and eat chips more actively. he notices how corners of your eyes crinkle when you smile and how cute you look with confusion written all over your face. in truth, he has no idea what he is even saying, but he can't stop, can't let you remember even for a second that this stupid elevator is not working. his thumb is numb from how strongly he pushes on that 'call' button but he ignores it in favor of staring in your eyes, catching every emotion that sparkles in them. you are cute and you don't even realize it and that makes you even cuter.
'hello? is someone there?' when static voice cuts through, both of you jump a little. 'apologies for this horrible inconvinience, elevator will start working in few minutes. are you alright?'
hansol takes a look at your surprised face and half-finished bag of chips. 'yeah, we are all good.'
pang of regret slashes through him when you hastily stand up and cheer, when cabin finally starts descending. shit, he didn't even manage to learn your name! when elevator door opens, hansol reaches out for your hand and is pleasantly surprised when you take it with a smile, rushing out with the cutest little 'whoop!' he saw in his life.
'i think you are right,' you suddenly speak, making him look up. 'what you said about you getting stuck in the elevators meaning something? i think you're meant to help people like me.'
i think i was meant to meet you, he wants to say but doesn't. instead what comes out of his mouth is: 'you owe me.' at your confused expression, he points at his snack. 'chips.'
'oh. oh!' you exclaim, getting flustered. 'of course, i will-'
'-and your name.' he adds, making you freeze. he watches understanding dawn on you and smiles. 'and your favorite drink. so i would know what to buy for you.'
it's bold. not exactly his style, but his head-to-mouth filter is not working anymore. for a second he thinks he overdid it, but then you blush (so prettily), then smile (so, so prettily) and he knows he didn't mess up. when you step closer and introduce yourself, hansol knows he not only didn't mess up, but also won something out of this whole situation. (and he doesn't know it yet, but this big win? it's your heart. it really is).
a/n: guilty for having this trope as my most favorite one!! and who is better than hansol to write this for, am i right? - nini

ALL THESE YEARS
lua’s note: happy bday coupsie!! also this is for my loved hanie btw @calicoups 💋
after studying and living in another state, you were finally back to your hometown, just to be surprised by your older brother welcoming you back with a small party.
seeing all those familiar faces was such a heartwarming moment, basically all of your friends were there, but there was someone that took all the attention for themselves, your brother’s best friend, seungcheol.
when your eyes met his figure you stopped in your tracks, he was different, but yet the same from when he last saw him. seeing him made you feel all the feelings you thought you didnt feel anymore, made you realize that even after all these years you still like him,
seungcheol saw you and immediately smiled and god, how you loved that gummy smile. “hey there, little one”, he said walking towards you and pulling you into a hug. he didnt change his cologne, the smell of home and comfort filling your nostrils.
“hey, missed me?”, you broke the hug and looked at him with a smile on your face, still mesmerized by his looks, not believing you were finally seeing him in front of you after four years.
“maybe i did… maybe i didnt”, he chuckled, “i did miss you. everytime i walked through a ice cream shop i found me thinking of you.. you still the biggest ice cream lover?”
you chuckled and nodded, remembering all the times you walked through an ice cream shop with him and begged him to go inside and buy an ice cream cone for you. “still the biggest ice cream lover”
the party already ended and your brother was no where to be found, most likely to be with his partner, and you were with seungcheol having a good time in the balcony, watching the view of the city night.
“how was college, little one?”
“it was good. life changing id say”, you looked at him, taking in the sight of him looking intensely at you, like he was scared youd leave and he would forget about you and your face, “but i missed here, cant lie”
he nodded, “i can see you changed”
“oh, really?”
“of course. i can tell you matured by the things you posted on social media and all that, yknow?”
you fake gasped, “was someone stalking me?”
“what? no!”, he laughed, “i have always followed you on twitter and instagram, you just appeared on my timeline. dont think youre that special”, he rolled his eyes in a okay playful manner, he wanted to make sure you knew he was joking about the last thing he said, he wanted you to know that you are indeed that special to him.
“yea right, cheol. pretend its true that i pretend i believe you. but you know, you changed too.. but physically speaking”
“i got bigger, didnt i?” he flexed his muscles, making you laugh and nod, “yes, you did got bigger”
“what else?”
“hm…”, you pretended to think hard about it, “you got older too”
“hey! how could you say that?!”
you laughed and shrugged your shoulders, “what about me? did i change?”
“i think we can say that you changed a bit,” he smiled, running his fingers through your hair, “your hair grew a little longer, your eyes changed a bit too.. now its not filled only with love and excitement for life, now it brings some nostalgia too” you chuckled, “stop making things up!”
“im being serious tho! i can see more love in your eyes”
“what else?”
“your style changed, you dont dress like before”, you chuckled, “thank god for that”
“i liked the way you used to dress up.. your makeup style also changed and…” he looked at your lips, “your lips… they look softer,” he brushed his thumb against your lower lip, “they look so kissable, more kissable than last time”
you felt your heart beating so fast you could swear it would jump out of your mouth, remembering when you saw him for the last time before going to another state, feeling the exactly same butterflies in your stomach you felt when he kissed you goodbye.
“do you think about the last time we saw each other? about the kiss?” he said placing a strand of your hair behind your ear, “because i think about it all the time”
“i think about it way more than i should”
he smiled and placed his hand on the back of your neck before leaning in closer and kissing you. the kiss was gentle, but yet firm. soon enough seungcheol was wrapping his arms around your waist and you wrapping your arms around his neck.
once he broke the kiss to catch some air he rested his forehead against yours and chuckled, “we should do that more often. actually, maybe you should just be mine”

A/N: welcome to another episode of rie is obsessed with joshua hong, luv my American boy
The light shines through Joshua's sheer white bedroom curtains, washing his room in a warm glow as he slowly wakes up.
He sees you already getting dressed, fidgeting with the hem of your, well, his shirt, trying to smooth it out. "Oh, sorry, did I wake you?" You said, turning your body to face him as he sat up from bed.
He reached out to you, palms holding the back of your neck gently, "Come here," He said, leaning in to press a soft but deep kiss to your lips. You smile into the kiss, kissing him back and giggling.
"No, you didn't wake me up." He said after pulling away from you, smiling at you gently. "Where are you going? You know you don't need to rush out here all the time, I haven't gotten the chance to make you breakfast yet." He said, rubbing away the sleep from his eyes.
You blush, still holding onto his shoulders, "Uh, I want to brush my teeth." You said dumbly, he raised an eyebrow at you.
"Just get one in my bathroom? You're over so often that you could just have one at my place. You should bring some clothes over too, save a walk of shame or two."
"By the way, would you mind closing the bedroom door? I'm gonna get dressed." He called out, you nodded and smiled at him, closing the door before heading to his bathroom to brush your teeth.
You walk out into his kitchen to see him fully dressed, carefully stirring the pasta he decided to make for breakfast. He smiles at you, "Go ahead and help yourself to drinks from the fridge, breakfast is almost done."

Sunoo x fem!reader
Sunoo had been struggling to deal with the aftermath of his break up with his ex-girlfriend for weeks. He had been in love with her for a long time and was devastated when she told him she wanted to end things.
On Valentine's Day, Sunoo decided to take a walk alone to clear his head. He walked for hours, trying to make sense of his feelings. As he walked, he noticed a flower shop and decided to go in.
Inside the shop, he saw his ex-girlfriend picking out a bouquet of flowers. He stayed hidden and watched as she carefully chose a selection of red roses, blue forget-me-nots, and pink daisies. She was obviously planning on surprising someone special with the flowers.
Sunoo felt his heart sink as he watched her. He realized that she had already moved on and was happy without him. He quickly left the shop, trying to hold back the tears.
That was the moment Sunoo knew that he had truly lost her. He spent the rest of Valentine's Day alone, wallowing in his sadness and regret.

P1harmony x fem!reader
Y/n had been dumping her victims into the river for months, and had become an expert at disposing of the evidence. She had been careful not to leave any traces, and was confident she would never get caught.
But, just as she was about to finish dumping her latest victim into the river, Y/n noticed someone else on the other side of the river. It was a man, and he seemed to be doing the same thing as her - disposing of a body.
But, what made Y/n's heart drop was that he had noticed her too. His eyes were cold and calculating, and Y/n knew that she was in trouble. She quickly ran away, her feet pounding on the pavement.
Y/n was sure that she had lost the man, but she kept looking over her shoulder, just in case. She eventually reached her destination, a small, run-down apartment, and quickly locked the door behind her.
Y/n had been living in fear ever since that night - she was sure that the man had followed her, and was determined to find her. Her only hope was that she had managed to lose him before he could discover her true identity.
And yet, despite her worries, Y/n couldn't get the man out of her head. She knew that she should stay away from him, but she was also curious to find out who he was, and why he was doing the same thing as her.
Whatever the man's motives were, Y/n was sure of one thing - she had to find out who he was and what he was up to before it was too late.

Y/n had always dreamed of traveling to Korea. When she finally had the opportunity to go, she was filled with excitement. She explored the bustling city and the beautiful countryside, taking in all its wonders.
One day, as she was strolling down the street, she bumped into Jungwon. They both looked up in surprise and began to laugh. After a few moments of hesitation, they started talking. The conversation flowed easily and before either of them realized it, an hour had passed.
Y/n had to leave urgently, and so regretfully, they parted without exchanging phone numbers. Y/n never expected to see him again.
A year later, Y/n returned to Korea. She had almost forgotten about the boy she had met on the street, but as she walked through the same street, she saw him once again. After a few moments of surprise, they both began to laugh again.
They talked for hours and realized they had feelings for each other. They exchanged phone numbers and started dating soon afterwards. Now they live together happily, thankful for the fateful day they had bumped into each other.

jiung x fem!reader
Once upon a time, there was a young kpop idol named Jiung who was famous for his strong stage presence and amazing vocals. He had legions of passionate fans, but all he wanted was to find someone that could understand him, someone that could look beyond his fame and celebrity status.
One day, Jiung was invited to a summer music festival in a small rural town, and that's where he met her. She was a hometown girl who worked at the local library and had a passion for books and music. They connected instantly and it felt like they had known each other for years.
Jiung was amazed by her kindness and her genuine beauty. They spent the day walking together and talking until the sun went down. Even though they were from two completely different worlds, they both shared a deep connection and understanding.
When it was time for Jiung to go, he couldn't bear the thought of leaving her. She felt the same way and so they exchanged contact information and promised to keep in touch.
In the months that followed, Jiung and the small town girl wrote to each other often and talked about their lives and their dreams. Despite the long distance, their love kept growing and eventually, Jiung decided to take the plunge and visit her hometown.
The two were finally reunited in the small town and their love for each other was even stronger than before. The townspeople welcomed Jiung with open arms and it felt like everybody knew their story. The couple eventually got married and started a beautiful family together.
To this day, people still tell the story of Jiung, the famous kpop idol, and the small town girl who changed his life forever.
