Hi!!! I was re-reading the CSAU comic (a routine I repeat whenever I need the comfort of a good story) and I realized a parallel here between these two panels!! Is this a coincidence or did you reference Equius' pose as a purposeful parallel to Arquius' feelings in the first panel....? Hehehe.

As for this panels, yes they are paralels of eachother

They're two different instances in which equius(arquius) helps someone he doesn't really like. And even tho he claims he can't help but break everything he touches, he's able to pic this person he finds anoying and a nuisance and not hurt them at all. He's a kind guy, a little brute, but he cares even about the people he doesn't like that much.

Also it's funny to think what Vriska's and Erisol's reactions were when they woke up, because him picking them and aiding them when they're injured is not something either would've expected of him and probably wouldn't know how to respond to.
