this canon divergent fix-it takes the utter joy of 2x11 and runs with it for 39k words (of course with some angst and heaps of character development thrown in too). on top of this there is pining and queerness and a hard of hearing character and sexy recurring themes. and guy and allan wear dresses. so if that doesn’t pique your interest what will?

i’m such a massive fan of so many shows but like,, nothing else gives me the pure serotonin i get from watching bbc robin hood. the boy band fringes… the silly clothing… the stupid in jokes… the ridiculous threats and plots… like the mcu is good and all but it’ll never make me as happy as the first time i watched the end of s2x11 where marian and guy and allan are just all smiling and joking and friends and the future is bright and everything is soft, or anytime when all the gang are just laughing together back at camp like… that’s just the pure happiness that only 2007 low budget primetime BBC productions can create

When I first started writing my Series 3 AU in late September, I set myself a deadline: April 26th. I always look forward to @mygangtome and this year I wanted my contribution to be my first novel-length fanfic. I’ve already published the first few chapters, but I thought I’d still use this as my submission.
