This is one of my favorite double exposures I have ever created. I had expired slide film that I got cross processed for development. I haven't found anyone in Georgia that can correctly process slide film and I haven't started my darkroom/development journey yet.

I decided to draw a card and write about it.
I had a card in my mind, then decided to draw one and see what appears.
The card I was thinking of was, "the empty room", and the card I drew was, "Apocalypsis." I have an archetype deck which called to me because I use jungian archetypes a lot in my writing.
Apocalypsis is death and rebirth. The psyche is pulling apart and what was once dark is forced to come to the light. The old dies and something new must be birthed. Very fitting of my current situation. I am in a transition, a very slow transition. I am taking steady steps but they are short and small. Decisiveness is the key during this time, cutting through the illusion and standing firm.
I am exhausted. I will keep going.
