Recognize when someone’s acting out, it’s not personal, choose to diffuse, not instigate, choose compassion, cause that can mellow people out and create understanding, and create a positive environment. I was being reactive rather than thoughtful, and I made a matter worse, it’s easy but you can choose to be kind in the face of the unknown, that’s what truly arouses agitation. Why are they acting like that? Do they think they’re above me? Do they think they can act however they want and I can’t do the same? It’s not personal, give them some compassion and lead with curiosity, and also understand your mood is impenetrable, cause it’s not reliant on the mood of others, you are the deciding factor in your influence and involvement in your relationships, at least from a personal perspective. Make the environment you desire.
#I hate the term be the bigger person#Cause it can excuse certain aspects of a relationship that don’t work#But being a compassionate person opens the ground for understanding and communication#You come to them earnestly and they do to#And you learn from each other
