Junmyeon never expected to meet the love of his life online. In fact, he still feels kind of odd about it. Serendipity can be defined as how him and Sehun started talking - he added the wrong Oh Sehun on Facebook. Seriously, what were the chances of that? 

seriously, kim junmyeon was just trying to befriend an actor he knew he’d be working with. he’s been living in japan for the last three years, the lead in a television show filmed in osaka. he’s really popular. everyone loves him, for his intense talent mixed with kind personality and adorable face, and bubbly personality. turns out there’s a few oh sehun’s in the world, and the guy he added on facebook (profile picture: blurry, guy with dark hair and cute dog) was just the wrong one. that was easily cleared up, he could have just deleted wrong sehun as a friend. but they got talking. because of course it came up that junmyeon is an actor. sehun is an 18 year old trainee at sm entertainment, close to debuting as a duo (chanyeol of course), and wants to know what its like, really being in the public eye. they spoke so much that first night. the conversation didn’t die out, for weeks, they just continuously spoke through facebook messages. it moved to skype eventually. junmyeon had such a crush on sehun but sehun was the one to admit it first, thankfully, as jun would never have the guts. 

well, sehun didn’t really admit anything. they spoke late into the night over skype,and he fell asleep while on the call, whimpering junmyeons name. juns heart was in his chest as he watched the bit of his face that was in frame after he fell asleep. he stirred after a while, mumbled “youre still here?”, junmyeon was embarassed, sehun was so sleepy he said “I love you” and started snoring again. 

that’s how it started. 8 months later, they’re finally going to both be in korea. junmyeon is visiting to see his family over chuseok. sehun has a break too, and they arrange to meet each other one day earlier than they have arrangements with their families. 

sehun is a wreck while he waits at the airport for juns flight to come in. what if he doesn’t like me? hes thinking, because of course, that plays on his mind. what if he isn’t as pretty in real life? what if he doesn’t feel attracted to him? what if the conversation doesnt flow like it does when they’re hundreds of miles away from each other?  

junmyeon can’t sit still on the flight either. the same goes through his head. he doesn’t want to be a bad influence on sehun, either, at such a make or break point in his training. why is he distracting him like this? what if he can’t be as good a boyfriend as sehun deserves? he’s so in love with him he physically can’t handle it. he so badly wants to protect him but fears he’s not good enough.

both of their anxieties come to a head when they lay eyes on each other for the first time. they feel everything all at once, and suddenly, all the bad stuff just dissipates. junmyeon freezes. sehun runs towards him, straight into his arms, no regard for how crowded it is and how public of a place it is to embrace his love for the first time. junmyeon wraps his arms around sehun so tightly that he couldn’t let go if he wanted to. “Oh my god, Sehun,” he’d whisper, over and over again. “Oh my god, you’re real.”

“Junmyeon,” Sehun would mumble, into his jumper, into his neck. “You’re real.”

junmeyon knows that sehuns hand is the only one he ever wants to hold, ever again. they are speechless, but not for lack of chemistry or conversation. they just want to get to somewhere they can be alone for the day. they want their own little world for as long as they can have it
