Imagination Danger
It is present time and the normal ritual of everyday lives continues as we know it, shopping for mental stress relief, catching up on the latest videos to caption our best nerve racking and overly thought up comment for likes by people we wish we knew, and the usual weekly double shifts to make up for the double shots all throughout the weekend.
When we all get home we’re all basically the same; throwing the keys in the general direction of where they're supposed to go, emptying your pockets and disposing of the crumpled receipt from your most recent late night with the crew, and once in a while that crumbled snack you almost forgot about, but good thing you wrapped most of it really well in its own wrapper because you actually wanted to finish it this time.
Anyways, after the shoes finally come off, we start to stare, most would say into outer space, or the ibis, or zoning out, well they are correct, to a certain extent... but we know all to well, were staring into something much more, much more than any human or even computer could even decipher, the right hemisphere of our brain. We create worlds that only we can control, we can go to to escape our daily shit list of jobs and chores to get us by until the next days shit list. But what if its true what they say, that the brain is more powerful than we know because we only use about 10 percent of it... pff, as if. When we day dream, we already open and stretch our brains capacity to be able to escape to these fantasies and breathe the dreams for real, but on the other hand, what happens when we over think, could our negative thoughts destroy our innocent hallucinations, by conjuring a figure to represent what’s negative?
Have you heard the saying, “Our thoughts can consume us”, or, “don’t over think you’ll hurt yourself”?, well what if these statements were true, and thinking negatively over an extended period of time, actually could brake down our brains natural way of separating reality, from a day dream...
Could you control your thoughts, with your thoughts right in front of you?
