Space - GF
The building will be seperate into 3 floors and each floors searve different functions and uses.
\ GF - active area
Ground floor which are the main entrance and the main playing area for kids, I would like to name it as an “active area”. This floor is mainly serve for kids to run, climb, jump and play arround. To fullfill different activity of different age level, I plan to have different area specific for different age of kids.
For kids from 6-8 years old, they are more active and they willing to test their physical limits. They also try to develop more complex moving skills like running a zig-zag pattern, jumping up and down steps and more. But, they will need more conservation and always need someone to take over of them from danger because they can’t diffrentiate the level of danger. Therefore, in GF, the ball pit made of foam will suit their movement and protect them from danger at the same time.
For kids from 9-11, they are still active but they start to develop new feelings and will be more sensitive. In this age level, they will look for new experiences that they never try before and even the more risky one. This age level can be able to climb up and down therefore the high structure that needs to climb up by a stair might suit their activity. For age 12, kids are more calm and they need more interaction to the others. Therefore, kids age 12 are suits to all of the facilities in GF.
Playing area: ball pit, high structure and slides, built in floor seating
Reception area, lobby, gallery, studios...
