I truly don't understand the posts on here that are like "no one ever talks about loving men" because like.. portrayals of loving men are truly so much of media--media with a target audience of men and media with a target audience of women and media with a target audience of children. listen to almost any pop song, read almost any romance novel, watch almost any movie in any genre at all. watch any sitcom. watch documentaries. you can find portrayals of people being attracted to men, having sex with men, loving men, admiring men, forming deep platonic, romantic, or familial relationships with men, etc. in virtually any piece of media that exists, including in predominately queer publications. it's truly just a minuscule number of lesbian blogs that are not publishing adoring content about men, (and even then a lot of lesbians still do reblog plenty of positive things about men, just not in a sexual/romantic way, but as friends, peers, or comrades). I have never experienced a single day of my entire life without being able to readily find real life examples and fictional portrayals of someone loving men.
