Part two – Benten
(837 words)
… the first weeks with her newfound friends were filled with hard training and learning some of the basics. Suki still needed to learn how to control her chakra properly and she needed to find out what her chakra nature is. Since the dragons helped her out, Suki would be able to perform ninjutsu as well as taijutsu - in which she was already very well-trained - in no time. It was hard, but she soon learned to use raiton and katon, her two chakra natures. To her dragons this was no suprise at all, because her father was very good in using lightning style jutsu and her mom had an affinity to fire style jutsu.
While training, Suki learned more and more about her family and the reason for them to live in a separate village rather than in a ninja village. She was told that her parents wanted the Himura clan to finally live in peace. She wasn’t really sure if she should believe it or not, but Ryujin, the head of the dragons, told her that her clan had always been feared by others because of their relationship to dragons. Her clan originated from a little village in the land of fire that was named Himura, but when the first Ninja war broke out, the villagers seeked shelter in the newly found hidden village. But soon her people where told that summoning dragons and letting them work for oneself was “messing with the gods“. Suki knew that dragons were reffered to as ancient gods and she herself was a little puzzled meeting the dragons for the first time. But Suki never once thought about the dragons as bloodthirsty monsters. Appearently, the hidden leaf villagers thought that way, so the clanmembers life became harder back when they lived in Konohagakure. Ryujin told her, that members of her clan got imprisoned and punished because of their powers. In the end the clan decided to only act from the background, to not longer live a life in fear. Suki slowly began to understand what must have happened, that lead to the attack from Kiri-nin back when she was little. If her parents did really work for the hidden leaf village, it would have made sense that the hidden mist ninja expected information from her father.
Ryujin along with Fukuryu - her mothers dragon - told Suki, that it was her fathers dream to train his daughter, so she could become a strong kunoichi. He always wanted peace and hoped that his daughter would be the one to show everyone the true nature of the dragons. He never wanted to leave Konohagakure, but he had to, in order to protect his family. Fukuryu also told Suki that her mother always had a feeling that Suki could be the one to change the clans fate. Benten – the godess of eloquence that rides on a dragons back– this was the name Sukis ancestors chose for their new village. Maybe as a sign of hope for the future.
After listening to all the storys Ryujin and the other dragons told her, Suki was sure that she had to fulfill her fathers dream and restore her clans reputation. But first Suki would have to go to Konoha, since she needed a real ninja training.
One night Suki was laying on her Futon, thinking about what to do next, when she heard screams from the main temple. She jumped into her Hakama and ran to the temple, where she found the temples shinshoku pinned up against the wall by two masked ninjas. Suki immediately rushed towards the masked ninjas attacking them with taijutsu as one of the ninja – genuinly surprised – dropped the shinshoku to attack Suki. She managed to dodge but the other ninja somehow got behind her back, now pinning her face first onto the wall. “Who do we have here? Is this your little spy Ninja, dressed as a Miko?”, one of the masked man said. “Haha you have to come up with someone more skilled than her in order to spy on us. she can’t even train secretly!”, the other one said mockingly. That was when Suki realized what she had done. The Kirigakure Ninja saw Suki training and thought she was a spy from Konoha. Suki tried to explain herself, only getting interrupted by the shinshoku yelling: “I knew we should have left you with the other monsters! Your clan only brings misfortune and offends the gods…”. The two man looked at each other as one of them said: “Ohhh so that’s how it is… you’re one of the dragon brats! I thought we had ‘em all but it seems like we missed one. Well, now we need to get rid of you…”, slowly taking out a kunai and putting it up to Sukis throat. But suddenly a hand grabbed the mans wrist and she saw a blonde man now putting his kunai up the mans throat. “Minato-sensei!”, a girls voice shouted, as three Konoha-ninja rushed into the temple……..

Part one – the dark red village
Before we start here is the author. Hi. Uhm english is not my mother tounge so sorry for all mistakes I make >.< I just wanted this story to be for everyone that is interested in my OC character (or maybe you just found this through the tags lol) But anyway, enjoy my story, I hope you like the first part of my Story.
(763 words)
Himura - dark red village – Suki’s name already spoke for itself. She was born in Benten, a small village with only few people living in it. Suki could not represent the village chief’s daughter more, because of her dark red, almost bloody red eyes. Her father was as proud as he could be when he first hold her in her hands.
However, the family luck was soon to be destroyed. One faithful day shinobi from Kirigakure where looking for information about the land of fire, questioning Sukis father. She cannot really remember what happened that day, maybe because she was only four years old. In the end the Kiri-nin slaughter her village, that is what she remembers in all its detail. She never understood why, at some point she even abandoned the idea that there was any explanation at all. But there had to be something. Suki survived since her mother hid her below the Tatami mat in the house, at least this is what the Miko told her who rescued Suki from the fire Kiri-nin set, to destroy the village.
Since that day Suki lived her life in a Temple close to where her village used to be. She tried looking for hints on why the Ninja expected information about the land of fire to be in her father’s possession. Her search was of no avail. But she decided to become a Shinobi, she wanted to be able to defend herself, but not only that, she wanted to know what had happened and confront the shinobi from Kirigakure.
Though, the Miko tried their best to keep Suki away from training Ninjutsu and finding out about her family. She always knew that there was something the others were afraid of, but she refused to listen to them, so she trained almost every day. She observed shinobi that came to the temple closely and got to see some fights as well, where she picked up some of the basics. Suki had a talent and learned quickly but she managed to keep her training secret, so the Miko had no idea what Suki was capable of already. Suki herself became a Miko and prayed at the shrines and in the temple often trying to talk to her ancestors about her past.
Suki heard them, mumbling, trying to talk to her, but all the time there was something she understand without a doubt. “You have to train more; you are not ready yet!”. Suki was not sure at some point if it was her imagination trying to justify her actions or if it was really a message from her ancestors. She kept on praying and training ridiculously hard and the voices during prayer became more intelligible. She learned more about her clan, their powers and got to know a little bit about her parents. She ascended from a religious family of shinobi, her parents probably in disguise to protect the villagers. Nonetheless, there where still many mysteries surrounding Sukis fate and she was eager to find out.
One day observing shinobi, Suki found out about a Jutsu she had not yet heard from. Kuchiyose no Jutsu. Immediately, Suki wanted to try it out, forming the hand seals, when she feels her chakra growing stronger, she closed her eyes concentrating on trying to perform the Jutsu as she was startled by a voice talking to her. “So, you finally made it huh?”, Suki opened her eyes and found herself on a field surrounded by dragons. Suki was not sure if she was crazy or not, but little did she know she had just encountered what her clan was known for in the past. A pact with dragons, divine creatures that had become a myth, also for Suki. It seemed that the dragons where the last remaining part of Sukis family that taught her almost everything, she had not been able to find out on her own. She started to realize that she heard the dragons through her prayers, not her ancestors, but their summoning animals. Suki began to have a strong bond to the dragons and trained a lot with them and slowly she found out more about her heritage. She grew stronger with the help of her newfound family that was closer to her than any of the Miku ever could be. She realized that the Miko must fear her powers and that something must have happened, so that her clan had to live undercover. She wanted to find out the rest of her story, but she did not know what she had gotten herself into……
